What is MyWWE: MyWWE is a project that I started out of sheer boredom. After watching a terrible RAW this past Monday night. I started to think back to the way WWE used to be. More so, what the WWE meant to me during my childhood/adolescent years. Given all the stuff that has happened on WWE in the past several years. I felt that if WWE wasn't going to change. Instead of me complaining & griping over the issues. I'll do something about it. I'll put all my negative energies into a project that would encourage the 'wrestling fan' in me to stay alive through the good & bad times of current day professional wrestling as we know it now.
Out of that, came MyWWE. At its core. The project is my own customized version of the 'WWE Universe'. Using all the in-game superstars from SvR 2010. Along with several CAW's from the present and/or past WWE. Using the RAW, SmackDown, & ECW brands. Each show will have there own unique style & flare. To not spoil any storylines that I'm working on for these events. I will say that each show will have its own unique flavor. So in a sense. When your watching a RAW show, then turn around to watch SD later that week. It won't feel like your watching the 'same show'. If that makes sense, lol.
Since the show I'm about to post is my first. I ask that you guys take it easy on me & not to be too harsh or critical XD. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not the most 'creative' guy out there. But I think atter watching wrestling for 20+ years. I do have a sense of where to take angles, who to push/not to push, and how to book matches.
Alot of the storylines or angles you'll see are based on stuff that has already happened throughout the years. Only tweaked & revised so it doesn't feel like the 'same old stuff'. Not to say that what I'm doing isn't original. But I think sticking to basics and working with traditional wrestling storylines and/or angles is a good way to start. Then evolve and progress from there without losing your core audience and getting too far off track.
In the coming days. I will post a complete line-up of the RAW, SmackDown & ECW Rosters. Including the Champions, GM's, etc, etc.
This is something I hope that will catch on, and maybe at least one person out there could enjoy & keep up. Consider this show as my 'pilot episode' if you wheeeeeeel (I know, bad Dusty Rhodes impression lol). If I can get enough intrest into the shows. The more apt I'm able to keep up the pace and post them on regular basis. Aside from doing these for my own enjoyment. Its more exciting to know that your not just all this for yourself. But for other people who are WWE fans, let alone wrestling fans in general.
As far as the matches are concerned. 90% of them will be simmed. Occassionally, there will be a match or two that I will purposely rig to further progress a storyline in order to take an angle where it needs to go.
During the editing process. I did my best to proofread over every promo. But occassionally, as is the case with one promo in particular with this show. Mistakes can happen, and are easily overlooked. In addition to simming the show. I do sit down and watch the shows beginning to end during its 'final stages' before I upload them to make sure that I have at least a reasonable show to put out to the viewers.
Anyways, enough talk outta me. Watch & enjoy the show everyone.
