Alrighty so over the next well forever, I will be bringing you my personal favourite game girlz one at a time, I will come up with a nice fancy banner for em and then give a reason as to why they are my favourite.
Also, for the ladies, just so I don't seem like I'm gonna objectify the game girlz, I am also doing a game guyz list too.
So look forward to these (not as much as Isa's Mega Man stuff but still look forward to it) ;D
Also, remember this list isn't a countdown it's my picks of favourite game girlz

Miranda LawsonMany of you may recognize this brown haired beauty as the "hot chick" from Mass Effect 2. Is that the only reason I like her and decided to add her to My Game Girlz list ?? Surprisingly, no. Though Miranda's looks have quite a bit to do with her character and with her being on this list it isn't the main reason. The main reason I added Miranda to this list is her attitude. She is a mixture of stuck up and badass, a real suck up and at the same time is willing to dish out the rules as well. It's that attitude that causes a clash with other Mass Effect 2 characters, mainly Jack, but others as well. I love Miranda's attitude, her looks, she was definitely a well designed character and the team at BioWare were definitely thinking in advance when they planned out Miranda as a character for the second and possibly third game provided that something bad doesn't happen to her before game 3. That is provided you didn't kill her in the 2nd game. And if you did........may you be struck by lightning.

Well, I haven't played either Mass Effect games long enough to really know all the characters aside from John Shepard. Judging by Hunter's description. She comes off as a bitchy, take no bs type of character. So, she should be interesting to listen to and follow along throughout the game(s).
Yeah... about all i could come up with fo her without really playing the game and seeing how she acts for myself. XD

Chloe FrazierSimilarly, when it comes to the Uncharted series of games, of my favourite female characters Chloe would be number 1 of that list, I'm not saying she's better then Elena nor am I saying that Elena will never make an appearance on my list. I just prefer Chloe. Why you ask ?? Chloe is gorgeous, but wait that's not all, what really makes the character appealing is that she is sneaky and manipulative. She will always have the upper hand on you regardless of how smart you think you are and how far you've planned ahead, Chloe is always one step further. She's a smart girl and that balances perfectly with her appearance. No matter what this girl does you never see it coming and that's what makes her stand out.

Samus AranThe badest of all badass game girlz, Samus Aran. Hell, this girl is so tough until the end of Metroid we didn't even suspect that Samus was a girl. In the 80's it was unheard of for a girl to kick soooo much alien ass. Samus has become a staple character for Nintendo but most people forget that she is a girl and not just a suit or a dude in a suit. The real Samus Aran has a deep backstory of how she came to be a bounty hunter, I think the biggest reason for me to introduce her to my list is just because c'mon, Samus is one of the most kick ass characters in video game history. And it just so happens she's a girl, guess that proves guys aren't always the toughest of the bunch

I am still unsure on Chloe, since I haven't completed Uncharted 2 I don't know if her character has a major twist in it, I suspect she'll betray Nathan for another guy. I agree though she is super hot and like the rest of Uncharted is beautifully rendered.
As for Samus I couldn't say since I assumed it was a robot and not a person under it, I never played the series so I really don't know her story.

OpheliaShe is apptly named for the Shakespearean character Ophelia and it becomes quite evident why about mid-way through Brutal Legend. What makes Ophelia a standout woman to me. She is a kick ass girl who is constantly hounded on by many for being the daughter of people who were in the Black Tear Rebellion making her slightly distrustful in the eyes of many. However, Eddie Riggs has no idea about any of this and immediately falls for Ophelia from the beginning of the game. Eddie trusts her fully even though many don't, when he is the only one left who trusts her and loses that trust, Ophelia much like the Shakespearean character drowns herself. It creates an entirely new Ophelia and one that I think equally is as cool but I much prefer regular Ophelia.

RayneThe apptly named heroine of the Bloodrayne series of games is one of the most unique vampire characters I've seen. Rayne is a dhampir, which is to say, half-human and half-vampire, sort of like Blade. Her story begins in the mid-1930's in Germany when she is trained by a group known as the Brimstone Society to hunt down and destory supernatural creatures and machines that the Nazi's are dabbling with in Argentina. She is a different heroine to me because she is an anti-hero, saving the day while only co-operating with Brimstone because she has too in order to find someone she's looking for. Her "father". She regennerates health by sucking peoples blood and has two absolutely bitching blades that she weilds to cause devestation and wicked decapititations. Her vampire powers also come in handy during the game to help Rayne get a handle on the situation at hand. Add to that the fact that Rayne is smoking hot and there you have one great game girl.

Rayne is nothing special. Just another cliche tramp with hardly any personality.

Jill ValentineThe lady in my avvy and one of the coolest game ladies ever. Jill Valentine kicks some serious ass from the moment you are first introduced to her. She is a compassionate character who sticks who own neck out for her friends and one "friend" in particular; Chris. The two of them go through hell and high water together and as is shown in Resident Evil 5, she will do whatever it takes to make sure that her friends are safe. She is a strikingly hot character and one of the most interesting characters I've seen in recent years. She is definitely a character that I wish was the main protagonist for one of the RE games but alas, not yet.

Jill's okay. But I wouldn't say one of the coolest, I prefer Claire to her in terms of women from Resident Evil and I prefer a hell of a lot more people than that to either of them.
She was the main character of RE3. The last good Resident Evil.

Claire RedfieldBaby sister to the famous STARS member Chris Redfield, during the course of Resident Evil 2 we are shown that Claire is definitely not the baby sister. When I say definitely I don't just mean her clear amazing skills with guns and talking, she has certain other "assets" as well Claire is one of the cooler game girls because she shows such selfless actions in whatever she does: looking out for Sherry and Steve. What her original intention to do was to start out in Raccoon City looking for her brother led her into the same conspiracy he was led into and she became another soldier in the war against Umbrella. Compassion, care, charisma, beauty = Claire Redfield

I totally forgot RE3 Isa, yes, she was one the main character.....I just wish she had a better storyline to work with. As for the comment on Rayne, ya I see where you're going and I put her on merely because I like the type of character she is....not what you're thinking

Honesty, RE3 wasn't that good IMO.
OK, on Claire I feel that they honestly didn't give us a reason as to why she can use guns or pick locks, sure saying she's American goes part way to explaining how to fire a hand gun, but a grenade launcher or a cross bow? For me there are too many blanks with her.
Jill, I like the look of her, but character wise I've not been given enough to go with, RE3 like the other PS1 games suffered from terrible voice acting, so building an idea from those games alone I can't really do. Looking at the remake, you see a bit more, but honestly I wouldn't really say from a character point she's interesting. Badass in RE5 yes, other than that there isn't much other than her look that makes her different from other female badass characters IMHO.
I am noticing a trend in video games that none of the female characters seem to have a human feel to them. All in this thread are described as badass or a bitch, but where is the weakness that often makes them feel real?

Nice choices when it comes to badass female characters in video games. But as Jay said, they are maybe too much of a badass as to be considered as human being. Its quite a similar flaw that also continues to pass over to the female characters in efeds. But this is not about efeds ... and as it is your topic Kim, I may want to give a pic as inspiration of a very "real" type of character ...

I was gonna add her, but not yet, I mean there's no specific order to me adding them but I just didn't have her lined up to be next. Which reminds me and I really appreciate you doing that dude, but if ANY of you have any ideas of guys or girls that you may wanna see on my list send me a PM here. (Everyone try to not post pics, don't worry I'm not mad I just take time to Photoshop mine so I sorta wanted those as the only ones but again I appreciate the thoughts and help

Heather MasonThe protagonist of Silent Hill 3 and daughter of Silent Hill's protagonist Harry Mason. The story of how Heather Mason came to be is quite lengthy and for those who don't follow the Silent Hill series would be incredibly confusing to explain. Short version = Heather is the re-encarnation of Alessa Gillespie an important character in the first Silent Hill game and was given to Harry at the end of Silent Hill What's more important to focus on with Heather was what was kindly brought up before by Nicole. Heather is a true to life girl, how can you tell, well she doesn't have the smooth skinned, beautiful eyes, and perfect hair of your stereotypical female video game character. She has split ended hair, dark eyes, freckles, etc... She is scared of things that go on in Silent Hill just like any other young 17 year old girl would be. A girl who finds a father figure in someone else when her father dies, someone who seems and is like a real person. A great example of a very human and realistic girl in a video game setting.

Madison PaigeAs I mentioned in my Ethan Mars post for the guys, Heavy Rain is FULL of emotional moments and that doesn't change when it comes to the most realistic video game woman I've ever seen. She helps Ethan at various points in the game with the injuries he succumbs from due to the trials he undergoes to save his son Shaun. I can't tell you why she is really with Ethan but needless to say that she regrets why she is really there immediately because she ends up falling for Ethan. At the same time as Ethan is out searching for his son, Madison is also trying to find Shaun without telling Ethan that she is. How it turns out is all relative to how you play but regardless Madison is a real human character that is full of emotion and doesn't need a lot of makeup or giant breasts to be one of the most attractive female characters in gaming. Again to truly understand these emotions and see Madison is as a character, you actually need to play Heavy Rain, which is 100% worth it.

MorriganIf you like the bad girl who has spiteful things to say and the way she acts can be considered evil sometimes, the girl who doesn't completely believe in love though has NOO reservations when it comes to sex. Then Morrigan is your girl. I just like the character of Morrigan, Isa would say that its just because I prefer all my female characters quite trampy but tis not the case. ;D No, I like her because of the convention of evil she portrays, its not a direct I'm gonna kill you and eat your children evil; but more of the subtle evil that you'd see unfold over a long period of time. She is also quite pretty but I'm not gonna get too much into that ;D It's unknown whether or not she'll show up in Dragon Age 2, hopefully she will.

LelianaShe is a thing of beauty in Dragon Age, like a delicate rose, beautiful and full of wonderous stories of her homeland of Orlais but there is a dark side to Leliana, it is this dark side that provides much of the intrigue into her character. It is the mixture of beauty and mystery that make Leliana such an interesting character. I love that she has such faith in the Maker, that if she sees you do any good deeds that she knows it his him looking down on you when helping these people and she knows you will be punished if you are evil. She seems like just quite the religious type, yet, when you first meet her she helps you take down like 5 guards. Playing the mission "Leliana's Past" you uncover but a tiny bit of information as to why she is such a good swordsman/archer. In the DLC "Leliana's Song" you finally fully understand why, it is the full story of Leliana's past years before the Blight.....and let's just say Leliana is not a loving sister of the cloth but more of a fun loving girl who enjoys theft, murder, and being overtly sexy. It is the naughty side to Leliana that I loved to see.....definitely worth the money.

Mission VaoMission has to be one of my favourite female characters in recent years because of her spunky attitude. "I may be a kid but I'm tougher then you are !!" Some of the things she has to say in Knights of the Old Republic are priceless, especially her arguements with the resident "old man" Carth. She is the perfect character to ALWAYS lighten the mood, no matter what the situation is.......she's always great to have during those darker moments in the game and why she's a stand still in my party. She is the prettiest girl in Knights of the Old Republic and she's a Twi'lek to boot.......... Gotta love the pretty alien girls right Captain Kirk ??
