Guys, I've been looking for places to get/download music for awhile now and I can't seem to find any. Torrents don't seem to work for me, they download WAY too slow, buying CD's is expensive, and with my radio show I'm really trying to find new stuff constantly and my own personal library is running short now and I've been repeating a lot of songs which isn't cool So any suggestions ??

What torrent sites/downloader are you using? I use TorrentScan.com and BitLord downloader and they work just fine for me. If those don't work for you, try using www.search4music.net/ to search for music and www.video2mp3.net/ to convert ANY video into an audio file. So, say there is a song on YouTube that you want? Take the URL for that song, put it in the text field on Video2MP3 and click CONVERT. You can choose if you want Standard or High Quality as well. It works perfectly for me and much faster than using torrents for single song downloads. Simply click the Save Link it gives you for the song after converting and save the file to your computer in the folder you want it in. Simple, fast, and convenient.

You could try filestube.com, it searches things like rapid share and I've found stuff Amazon doesn't sell also. It's worth a shot as long as you know what to look for, only issue with it can be if rars are passworded

LOL You stole my link Jay, but yeah that site is a one stop for searching really.. It covers Rapidshare, Megaupload and so much more. If it's hosted online it will give you the links

SoulSeek or use the YouTube Downloader tool to download the song you want as an FLV file. Then afterwords, use the same program to transfer it over to an mp3 file.

Well all I have to say is I love that YouTube music converter one Bryan, I just finished converting the entire soundtrack to Alan Wake and am starting on the tunes in Dragon Age: Origins.

As the same with Bryan, I used TorrentScan.com with Bit Torrent to download songs. And they do go fairly fast, even for my shitty computer. You just have to make sure you have more peers than seeds (Or the other way around, I forget) and they should download at a reasonable rate.

Reopening an old thread here, but how many of these are still active? There was an awesome converter called Dirpy, but it has since closed. I used it for YT, got the Miror B music from Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness. Hmmm Prob shoulda kept that one to myself, but hey, its CATCHY!

I know for sure the two in my first post work. I still use them myself.
