#73 Burner Man Game: Mega Man & Bass
It fits the stage where Burner Man is, however, it doesn't fit Burner Man himself, I think. It doesn't have a feeling of this is a fire-type boss, instead it would be more suited if it was a wood or plant-type boss. The theme itself starts off pretty nice but then it kind of loses itself along the way and only stays at a decent tune.
#72 Fire Man Game: Mega Man 1
I don't know what it is about this theme, but I do enjoy it, though its nothing spectacular, mainly due to the short length it has, it doesn't get to leave a bigger impact. If it was maybe a minute longer to work with, it might have gotten higher billing than this. But as it stands, its simply decent.

Burner Man's theme sounds almost like Fire Man's, but played on a flute instead. lol Neither are really that great IMO. I suppose they could help up your heartbeat some because they are so fast, causing you to need to react quicker in order not to get burned. That's merely an assumption though as I would guess there would be something in the stages for these robot masters in order to "fry" your circuits. (See what I did there? Did ya? DID YA??? ) Nothing really memorable out of either of them. But, at least the themes are getting better as the countdown rolls on!

I see what you did thar. I did. lol
#71 Search Man Game: Mega Man 8
There's something about this theme that I like and something about it I don't. I like the synthesizer that it has to make that robotic sound, however, the overall beat to the song is not that great, in my opinion and it gets on my nerves pretty quickly. A good theme for what it is, but not something I can listen to over and over like I can with other themes, so it gets stuck kind of low. But overall a good theme.
#70 Cut Man Game: Mega Man 1
Its not looking good for Mega Man 1 is it? While I do rank a lot of them low, I do still like them, its just, they were pretty rough around the edges compared to the stuff that was to follow. Cut Man is no exception, but he does have a good theme. Only music that actually makes me think of scissors when listening to it so that's a plus. Hah.

Search Man had an odd theme. Doesn't make me think of searching for anything really and the theme probably would have been a better fit for someone like Gemini Man since it gives a "starry, space" vibe to me. It's an ok theme I guess, but doesn't fit the character very well. Cut Man's theme makes me think of the Rescue Rangers game for NES instead of Mega Man. It's a theme I would expect while fighting through a factory level on that game instead of a MM robot master. It's a little annoying with some of the high-pitched sounds to me. But, a lot of the older MM games didn't seem to have very good music for what they were supposed to represent. That's what I have gathered at least from listening to a lot of these in the countdown so far.

#69 Plant Man Game: Mega Man 6
Mega Man 6, while not having the greatest soundtrack of the series, still produced some nice music, and even though Centaur Man did recieve a pretty low number on my list, that doesn't mean I hate his theme, the same goes with this guy right here. Plant Man has a very nice theme and it works for him and his stage. However, even with that praise it falls a little low, simply because I think there are better themes out there.
#68 Astro Man Game: Mega Man 8
Another one from Mega Man 8 already... Hmm, while its definitely a huge improvement from Search Man, in my opinion, it still is lacking a little something. Its definitely got a nice and funky beat and fits Astro Man perfectly, but still compared to things to come, I think its just a little lacking.

Plant Man's theme is slightly catchy, but I think it's because of the fast pace kept throughout the song. It has a good length to it so it's not entirely too long or too short. A decent theme for what it is. Astro Man's theme is the same as Plant Man's and I agree that it does fit him well, even if only matching it to a name alone. It's an alright theme. They are definitely getting better and easier to listen to as the countdown progresses.

#67 Pirate Man Game: Mega Man & Bass
I tried to give this theme more of a chance than this, cause it belongs to a pirate and pirates are awesome (though not as awesome as ninjas... oh lord. Let it begin). And while I do enjoy the theme overall there's something in it that keeps me from placing it higher. It happens early on and repeats for a bit and then comes back throughout the song. I don't know quite what it is, but I believe its a synthesizer, that high pitched sound just bugs the hell out of me and keeps this theme from going higher.
#66 Bright Man Game: Mega Man 4
In my opinion, Mega Man 4 produced a great sound track. However, even with that said, there are some ones that are lacking. Bright Man, in my opinion, is one of them. The first 5-10 seconds of it are just so dull. Yes, they give the sound of the idea behind the Robot Master, but I think they could have done it a bit differently. The song itself has a few snazzy and catchy parts but overall it leaves me a little on the unimpressed side.

#65 Bomb Man Game: Mega Man 1
Runner up for my favorite Robot Master from Mega Man 1, I don't know why I like him, I just do. Make things go boom! Uh... Anyway, as far as his theme goes, its my second favorite from Mega Man 1, but even with that said, when compared to other games, it lacks a little something. I really do enjoy this theme though, despite it being ranked so low. It really gets me into his stage.
#64 Burst Man Game: Mega Man 7
Even though Burst Man is my favorite of the starting four of Mega Man 7, his theme is my least liked of the entire eight. Doesn't make it a bad theme, though. Its quite the upbeat song and even has some water element thrown into it to give it an overall nice vibe. However, even with that said, there are better themes in my opinion and Burst Man, while I like you, you're still stuck a bit low.

#63 Flame Man Game: Mega Man 6
Flame Man has a very nice theme. Its very fitting of his stage and his overall design. It starts off pretty calm, and to be honest that calm start deducts some points from it, I hate to say. However, the theme itself makes up for that start and its a theme that I do thoroughly enjoy and one I can listen to a few times over before heading off to another. A pretty catchy tune right here.
#62 Hornet Man Game: Mega Man 9
In my opinion, the weakest theme to come out of Mega Man 9, however, that doesn't make it a bad theme at all. It has its catchy moments and is fitting of the stage and the Robot Master itself, it just doesn't do as much for me as other themes to come do. Still, its a good theme all in all.

Wasn't too fond of Pirate Man or Bright Man themes. That high pitch sound did get a little annoying as the song continued. They just didn't seem to be very different from previous themes in the countdown. Just a better version or something I guess. Bomb Man is the first one I can actually say I remember from playing MM long ago. It was alright, not as lacking as the previous ones. Burst Man, Flame Man and Hornet Man were all ok, but I could imagine they would have a better feel to them if I knew the stage the song played in. Judging solely by the music it's hard to imagine. Still, they were good themes. I'm sure they will only get better considering the countdown is really just getting started.

#61 Stone Man Game: Mega Man 5
Stone Man is pretty popular among Mega Man 5 themes, I believe. And while he is the fourth from five to be put on the list, that doesn't mean I dislike him at all. I quite enjoy his theme. For a rock/ground element Robot Master he has a pretty solid theme and one I do enjoy, just not as much as the remaining four from five. Pretty catchy all around.
#60 Top Man Game: Mega Man 3
The first four seconds annoy me a little. Not so much the sound the give but more so the general tone of it. However it kicks up a notch and really gets going pretty well, though slightly repetitive. Not a bad track at all, though. Very catchy save for the very beginning and the climax is pretty nice as well.

I'm kinda meh on Stone Man. It's a good theme, but I just can't see how it matches the RM I guess. I guess I expected something a little slower. Seems like almost all the MM themes are rather fast-paced. Top Man I liked even though it was very fast as well. I'm just glad it didn't go too long to make it too repetitive.

#59 Gravity Man Game: Mega Man 5
While I criticize a lot of themes about having a slow start, I actually can't say anything bad here about Gravity Man's slow start. I actually enjoy it. The theme itself is pretty slow paced overall so I think the slower start just seems to fit in perfect unison with it. The song is quite catchy to me and I just enjoy it thoroughly. Pretty catchy overall though the climax is a little weak, in my opinion.
#58 Commando Man Game: Mega Man 10
Commando Man's theme is quite nice. I do enjoy it and it is a very catchy tune and definitely has a desert vibe to it and that works since his stage takes place in a desert more or less. Start is excellent and the song itself is overall nice throughout the whole thing. I think the climax is just a tad weak but that's me.

Both themes are alright. I liked them better than most that I've heard so far in the countdown. I think the atmosphere of the stages probably do a lot more for the themes by setting the "mood" so to speak. Gravity Man seemed to have a slower pace to it than most, maybe so the player will take their time. Commando Man was the complete opposite, starting off with a fast pace and perhaps a sense of urgency for the player. That's my thoughts just hearing the music anyway. No clue what the stages are like. lol

#57 Cloud Man Game: Mega Man 7
The beginning is unique, sort of. Though honestly, the beginning of this and Freeze Man confuse me in terms of which one I'm listening to until the theme actually gets going. The beginnings just sound so similar its not even funny. With that minor nitpicking out of the way, Cloud Man has a very... cloud-y sounding theme. It makes me think of being in the air and it got its point across well. However, as much as I do enjoy it, its still kind of lacking a little something but its not bad at all.
#56 Frost Man Game: Mega Man 8
Ah, Frost Man, though your stage may annoy many for a certain section, it doesn't bug me in the least. Frost Man's theme is very soothing and very calming, much like an ice stage should be I think. I really like the sound effect echoing in the back, like an ice crystal shimmering or something. Its quite nice. Kind of a slow paced theme but overall pretty darn nice.

I like Cloud Man's theme. It does kinda have an uplifting, floating on cloud 9 feel to it. Not something you would expect for a MM level I guess. lol Maybe a golf game like Hot Shots Golf. Frost Man has a relaxing theme, which also makes me think of Hot Shots Golf. XD Maybe something you would hear on the weather channel while it's showing the forecasts for the next week. lol It's a nice theme, not something I would expect from MM. Not sure how well either fits the stages, but based on the music alone I think they are probably the best 2 so far on the countdown.

#55 Spring Man Game: Mega Man 7
Spring Man's theme is very happy go lucky and that's a good thing because his stage is so child like that the theme just fits. It also has a springyness to it, kind of like how Cloud Man's has a feeling of the sky. The theme is very catchy in my opinion, but compared to the remaining five from Mega Man 7 it just doesn't stack up, not to me.
#54 Cold Man Game: Mega Man & Bass
This theme, while it is nice, seems pretty cut and dry also. Its very nice and has a soothing feeling to it, much like an ice stage should, but at the same time it leaves me desiring a lot more. However, even with that said, it is my number two pick from Mega Man & Bass so it gets more praise from me than I'm giving it here in this description. I do enjoy it, and it is my second favorite from Mega Man & Bass, but when stacked to the rest of the series, it takes a back seat to a lot of them. Overall though, a very solid track.

#53 Tengu Man Game: Mega Man 8
Another Robot Master based on a mythological entity. I may have it ranked at 53, but I do quite enjoy this theme. From start to finish its just a good theme in my opinion. Got a fast pace going in the background while the foreground is medium paced and really gives that feeling of soaring through the sky and that's perfect for that one section of the stage where you're playing it like a classic flight shooter. Hehe. Good theme to me, despite it getting a kind of low rank.
#52 Napalm Man Game: Mega Man 5
Hm, I'm not quite sure what to say about this one. It has kind of a weak start in my opinion and it loses points due to that. It gets better as it rolls on and seems to fit Napalm Man and his jungle-like stage. Okay, so maybe its not a full on jungle, but still, I can see the Vietnam influence to the stage. Regardless, a pretty slow and melodic theme overall and a nice one at that.

#51 Strike Man Game: Mega Man 10
Another from Mega Man 10. Not quite sure where people hold Mega Man 10 to be honest, but some of the tracks are just underwhelming to me. This is one. Not that its bad, its quite nice. Has a nice beat to it and a nice tune overall. Though, it doesn't really make me think of baseball, but then again I don't watch the sport, so yeah, not sure what baseball should be represented like through music. Anyway, a pretty weak start into a nice theme overall.
#50 Clown Man Game: Mega Man 8
Ah, Clown Man! My love~ ...Er, no one heard that! Anyway, Clown Man is my favorite Robot Master from Mega Man 8 and his theme happens to be one of my favorites from Mega Man 8 as well. Not my favorite but one of them. However, despite my love for the Robot Master and the theme, I have to be fair with it when comparing it to others and put it in its rightful spot. So, here it is at the number 50 spot. I just love the upbeat nature and child-like wonder of the tune. Most people sadly can't appreciate it due to that. Start to finish though, this is a good tune.

#49 Quick Man Game: Mega Man 2
Oh no! a Mega Man 2 theme not above the half way mark?! Though, seriously, I love Mega Man 2's sound track, it was the game I started with in the Mega Man series and I will admit a lot is nostalgic bias. Quick Man though, I've never been too big on the theme. Its played quickly, yes, it definitely covers that but it just has a small annoyance factor that makes me only play it once or twice before I switch to a more loved theme. I believe its the sound effect that's supposed to represent a laser or something that does it to me, but I'm not quite sure.
#48 Drill Man Game: Mega Man 4
Drill Man is my least favorite Robot Master of Mega Man 4 and is also the one I tend to have the most trouble with in terms of fighting him. Despite my dislike for him on both a design standpoint and a fighting standpoint, I must say the theme is rather catchy. Its fast paced and opens nicely and has some nice little breakdowns throughout the song that just makes it click nicely with me.
#47 Crystal Man Game: Mega Man 5
A pretty slow start into a slightly faster theme. Its not the greatest but its pretty calming. Its got a nice little beat going for it and a couple of nice tiny little break downs, though nothing major. There's not a lot to say here other than its pretty good but not great.
#46 Grenade Man Game: Mega Man 8
Grenade Man, your theme is quite awesome. Not the best from Mega Man 8 but still pretty awesome, especially for Mega Man 8 who had one of the weaker sound tracks, in my opinion. Sure it doesn't give a feeling of grenades but its still so lively and upbeat. Kind of a slow one but still portrays an upbeat tone and some of the break downs in the song is just awesome. I know I've said that word like three times now but I can't help it. Definitely one of the better themes to come out of Mega Man 8.
#45 Magic Man Game: Mega Man & Bass
Length is questionable, as I heard from my friend Xero that Dynamo's is not actually five minutes long. So, not sure what happened with that one or possibly this one, guess the person who ripped/zipped it decided to loop their theme a couple more times. Heh. Anyway, Magic Man has the best music of the Robot Masters to come out of Mega Man & Bass, in my opinion. Much like Clown Man's, I love the child like wonder to the tune. It really makes me feel like magic is in the air as I play through the stage. Its a soft melody with a few nice breaks in between. All in all though, I adore this theme and the Robot Master.
#44 Ring Man Game: Mega Man 4
Ring Man has a very catchy tune, but when I compare it to the remaining tunes from Mega Man 4, it just doesn't stack up that well to them, in my opinion. But damn is it catchy, I can't deny that. Its pretty decently paced, maybe a little fast paced towards the middle and has some nice little beats throughout the tune. All in all, very catchy.

Clown Man FTW! Hehe.
#43 Flash Man Game: Mega Man 2
There's one thing about this theme that makes it better than Quick Man's (and I still say that Quick Man's theme is good). It doesn't have that annoying laser-y sound. Sure it may not be as fast paced as Quick Man's, thus leaving it a little more desirable to other people, but I don't expect a fast paced theme when the stage is more or less an ice stage. It has the ice physics so, yeah. Anyway, its pretty slow paced with some nice drumming going on through out it. A pretty good theme overall though.
#42 Junk Man Game: Mega Man 7
Junk Man's theme is definitely the best out of the bottom four. I can't really say it reminds me of junk or garbage exactly, but it doesn't have to. His stage isn't very junk oriented except for a couple of areas. Its more of a factory - and I think this theme works for the stage and for him. It has some nice pacing and some nice beats all around.
#41 Charge Man Game: Mega Man 5
So, here we are with my second favorite from Mega Man 5: Charge Man. Its definitely a nice little tune and it does have a train-like sound to it with the slight 'chuga-chuga' in the background as the music plays. Not the fastest beat around, but its decently paced and really works for Charge Man and his stage.
#40 Needle Man Game: Mega Man 3
Even though its where it is, I absolutely adore this little tune. I must say I love the beginning of it. A very nice start into a very nice theme overall. But to be a bit more specific, its decently paced and has some good drumming to go a long with the nice little blips and bloops thrown into the mix of the song making a very enjoyable tune to me.

#39 Freeze Man Game: Mega Man 7
Much like I said back on Cloud Man the beginnings are very similar and it takes me a moment to realize who I'm listening to. However, with that said, Freeze Man far outshines Cloud Man's theme. It has a nice little beat to it overall and has a nice little noise that plays throughout it, however, it isn't overdone to the point of annoyance like it is in say Pirate Man's. Very fitting for an ice stage and ice themed Robot Master I do believe.
#38 Plug Man Game: Mega Man 9
Kind of a hectic start this one has as opposed to a lot of slow ones. Its just in your face then kind of slows down a tad only to kick back up to a fast pace here and there. Overall though its pretty nice - a nice little musical interlude with some nice beats going on in the background makes for one very enjoyable theme.
#37 Air Man Game: Mega Man 2
As much as I do love Mega Man 2 and its sound track, I do admit that some of the songs just don't do it as much for me as others and Air Man is one of those. Now, don't get me wrong, it is a lovely little tune. Has a nice little air-y feel to it, some nice beating, and breakdowns throughout to make a very enjoyable tune. However, I must go into hiding now because when Air Man finds out about this, he's not going to be happy and remember kids: Air Man can't be defeated.
#36 Dust Man Game: Mega Man 4
Ah - now here we go. We're getting into the better music of Mega Man 4, that's not saying I don't like Bright Man's theme, its just not as good as the rest. Anyway, about Dust Man, its another one of those with a slow start that I criticize however, I'm not going to here. The slow start here is merited and really good, in my opinion. Then it just flows into a nice tune all around. Nice beats, nice blips, nice bloops. All in all enjoyable.
