That's some super sad and unfortunate news. My gut sank to my heels when I saw the subject line. We've lost one of, if not THE greatest Japanese performer of the last 20 years. His loss will be felt through the entire wrestling world, by superstars and fans alike. But at least he died in the ring. On another note on the cause of his death, one had to figure that was the way he was going to go out. I mean, in the last 20 years the man's been dropped on his head more times then any other athlete in ant other sport period. From the Ganso Bomb to the many Burning Hammers he's suffered, as well as all of the other numerous head shots he's taken in his career, it was bound to happen. I know they take some serious risks in puro, but perhaps his passing will prompt the companies over there to maybe scale back on the amount of moves used that cause extreme head trauma. We've lost a living legend, but the most I can say is that the powers above felt it was his time. Rest in peace, Misawa-San.

One of the old school puro guys, high on the list of legends up there with Giant Baba for sure. Even though he was the polar opposite of him. He will be missed.

The name doesn't ring a bell to me. Then again, I don't pay too closely attention to names over yonder. Either way... It sucks to hear another wrestler has passed and while in the ring too. It's a damn shame.
