Here I give you a visual history of without a doubt one of my most storied creations, Dru Nedermeyer. Now this isn't a definitely visual history, as I've been making Dru since BEFORE they were called "caws". The orginal Dru was named Dru Romeo, and created WWF Attitude WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back in 1999. Yea...ten years the character has existed. But I do have snaps of him from 2007 until now, so here goes.
2007
His old 2007 caws.ws bio
The ink layout that's become synonymous to him.
360 Conversion by WLJ
The tribal singlet attire (Might actually bring this one back from the dead.)
His final look for 2007
2008
The 1st version of Dru for 2008
The redux of the initial Dru caw. There were several versions of Dru in 2008, but it was only cosmetic changes in facial hair and a fully hacked moveset. He retained this uniform look for all version aside from color changes.
The hacked version of Dru 2008. 100s in stats and totally hacked moveset.
2009
Dru as he exist now.
There are older pictures of Dru from 2006, but those are tucked far away in the archives of the OLD Caws.ws (You know, back when it wasn't Webtard Central) and I'm to lazy to go hunt them down. As far as his character, Dru has aged every year since he was made. He started as a 21 year old high flying prettyboy, and is now a 31 year old grizzled veteran. It was between Smackdown: KYR and SYM that I decided to drop the Romeo and give him the name and lineage of one of my Legends Of Wrestling character "The Wild 1" Bernie Nedermeyer. It was also here that I started bulking him up. His present 320lbs frame is the result of 10 years of evolution in wrestling, most of it gained during a period of time where he was "injured" for more then a year by Simon Fierhart. It was then, on Shut Your Mouth that I gave birth to his "Monster" gimmick, and the rest as they say is history. Dru is proceeded by Simon Fierhart and closely followed by Jayson Jones and Elai Kalenovic as my "Big 4", the elites of my catalog of characters. In a world full of E-Fed characters in their early-mid 20's, it's fun roleplaying Dru being more "my" age (28, going on 29). It allows me to take a different, more objective approach to him as a character, and enables me to use him as more of a "mentor" then a main eventer, as I've done since we started XWA. He's also STILL the only E-fed character to go undefeated an entire season, a streak that was ended 3 matches into his brief stint in APW my Michael Xavier via of all things...a jacknife pin...lol. For as long as I continue to make caws, I'll continue to evolve him.
