I liked it. It was nice seeing it in a mostly sport presentation, with only one real feud to roll with.

Kenny King has, and always been on of my faves. He's got a lot of the same tools physically as Shelton Benjamin, which damn sure ain't a bad thing. And Tyler Black's got a bright future in the business. All that talent and he's only TWENTY TWO YEARS OLD!!! Imagine how good he's gonna be 5 years down the road?

I like his skills, but I don't see much "main stage" star power in him. I was laughing at that promo he cut... that lisp is just absolutely horrible. I know that would be an initial drawback in both places, on top of size and all of that. His best case scenario would have a manager do his talking for him, but even then, that size=Intercontinental at best if he were to go WWE.
Kenny King was fucking awesome though, always love Jerry Lynn although I wish they had a better camera angle on teh TKO, since I think he executes it the best. Delirious is always a fun watch, even though he completely lost his balance at a very awkward part of that match. Liked that Sammy guy's submission, and Brent Albright... I really like his skills even if he looks like he has no personality. I remember his brief time in WWE too, and it's nice to see people busting out realistic submissions like that type of armbar for a finisher.

I think Black would actually need some sort of mainstream exposure for him to build on his mic skills, but yea...I agree with him being IC/US title material. All and all, it wasn't a bad 1st show. I definitely like the wall to wall format it has. More wrestling, less acting.

It was a decent first show, nothing really special. From what I Understand the first six weeks are suppose to be an introduction to Ring of Honor.

They actually taped it all for the HDNet releases. Like, 3 shows apiece.

May have gotten an early leak of the matches then, because Wrestlezone was posting the spoilers as they happened last month...
