Here is my run of Mega Man X, already completed, so, all episodes up for your viewing pleasure. Most of the titles to the videos are song references, just a running gag I have with my Mega Man videos. All descriptions are taken from Youtube at the time of my posting it, and shouldn't be taken into context of today.
Episode 01: License To Chill
We are underway first with the Introductory Stage, which I do horribly at! Yay! and then we move onto the Snow Mountain Stage or Abandoned Missile Stage if you prefer. ...Also known as Chill Penguin Stage. And, again, I do horribly! ...Seriously, those Snow Shooters are the bane of my existence in this stage.
Episode 02: The Black Wind Howls
After putting down the first feathered fiend, X heads off to the Death Rogumer to take out the other one known as Storm Eagle.
Episode 03: Into The Fire
After dealing with the two birds, X sets his sights on a much, much larger adversary and heads off to the factory to confront the Massive maverick known as Flame Mammoth.
About how I figured the stage itself to go. Took a few attempts to get the X-Buster Upgrade. Tricky, Jump is tricky. As for the fight with Flame Mammoth, I know he is easy, but he gives me a little trouble here and there. I also forgot where my Dash button was for a moment and that resulted me in jumping directly into him instead of dashing under him.
Episode 04: Ride The Lightning
After the defeat of Flame Mammoth in the Factory, X heads off to the Power Plant to deal with the electrical Maverick that is Spark Mandrill.
Episode 05: Big Wheels Keep On Turning
After the defeat of Spark Mandrill, X heads off to the Mines to deal with the rolling menace that is Armored Armadillo.
This stage, seems really, really short to me. It might be because of the mine carts, I'm not too sure. Took some hits that I should have avoided, but I wasn't fully paying attention. Call it tanking through if you will!
Also, apologies there at the Boss Door, with turning that thing off. I meant to hit 'W' to switch my weaponry, but wound up hitting 2 instead.
Episode 06: Devil & The Deep Dark Ocean
After bringing an end to Armored Armadillo's treachery in the mines, X heads off into the ocean to stop the scourge of the waters, Launch Octopus.
Episode 07: Hard To See
With the fall of Launch Octopus at the bottom of the ocean, X heads off to the Tower and begins the ascension to challenge the master of space and time, Boomer Kuwanger.
The stage itself isn't too bad for me until the 'final stretch' if you will. Then I just... lose all skill.
Episode 08: Welcome To The Jungle
After defeating Boomer Kuwanger atop his tower, X heads off into the Forest to take out the final Maverick known as Sting Chameleon.
Not my best run so far. I'm not great at this stage or the boss, but I do okay, I think.
Episode 09: Spiders?! Punch Em!
After the defeat of the eight Maverick's, Sigma's Fortress is discovered and thus, X and Zero head off to put an end to him. However, the place is heavily guarded, as Vile, Boomer Kuwanger, and Bo Spider guard the first area.
And, this stage is evil. Just plan evil, the fact I played and recorded with a headache didn't help matters, I'm sure, but I just wanted to get the stage over with. Vile didn't give me too much trouble, I blame the hits on myself and not timing my jumps properly, as well as hitting the fire button instead of the jump. Boomer is about the same as he was in the previous video and, well, Bo Spider? I shouldn't have played with a headache, really. I'm pretty ashamed to have used two sub-tanks on it. I just couldn't guess correctly where the spider was going to go. I've never been good at reading the pattern, but eh, the headache really didn't help.
Episode 10: Face To Face
After the defeat of Vile, Boomer Kuwanger, and Bo Spider, X continues to make his way through Sigma's Fortress. In the second area, he comes up against more resistance in the forms of Chill Penguin, Storm Eagle, and a giant face known as Rangda Bangda.
I don't think I did too bad here. Took a few hits that should have avoided, for example, with Chill Penguin --- that's what I get for trying to get cute with his weakness. And, well, taking hits on Rangda Bangda with my skill level is to be expected!
Episode 11: Walk The Dinosaur
After blasting his way through the second area of Sigma's Fortress and taking out the weird defense mechanism known as Rangda Bangda, X proceeds deeper into the fortress where the resistance seems to be the heaviest as Armored Armadillo, Sting Chameleon, Spark Mandrill, Launch Octopus, and Flame Mammoth await him, and at the end of all of those is a machine known as D-Rex.
Not much to say. Pretty much a boss rush episode with minor enemies thrown in between the rooms. I, like always, take hits I should have dodged. I don't know what it is with me and tanking through the stuff. Haha. I also decided to get cute with Launch Octopus after cutting his tentacles off. I don't know why. I just thought it would be fun, and it kind of was, save for the hits I took. Oh and Bohepans and Mobius, when you read this, I tried the 'dance' with Sting, and I just couldn't get it down. He wouldn't cooperate. But this was my first time attempting that ^_^
As for D-Rex, Well, I take hits, and mess up quite a bit. I must have been mentally exhausted after the boss rush, yeah, that's it! Nah, I don't know what happened. Usually D-Rex is pretty easy for me. And, I realize using that Sub-Tank at the end was a waste, but I didn't want to risk it.
Final Episode: For Whom The Bell Tolls
After a lot of fight, and a lot of death and destruction, X has finally made his way to the last area of Sigma's fortress where Sigma himself is awaiting him. However, before Sigma will fight X, X must fight his pet, Velgaurder.
The fight with Velgaurder wasn't too bad, though, he usually gives me trouble. However! The fight with Sigma himself was... Weird. I don't know why he gave me so much trouble. His pattern is so easy! But, I just couldn't get the hang of it.
As for the fight against Velgaurder Sigma, much to be expected. Lots of hits, lots of Sub Tank use. But, why does it matter? I've won! I've beaten Mega Man X and that's all that matters. And, yeah, I had to speed up the credits to keep the video under the appropriate time frame.
