Glad you're enjoying them. Least someone is. XD
Episode 43: School Festival
In this episode, we see the group going around and enjoying their free time off with the school festival. Along the way we find out an interesting tidbit about the principal. And after that, Flay and Vayne head off to the auditorium for the Battle Arena.
Episode 44: The First Round
In this episode, the first round gets underway, though, while considered a boss battle, the two go down quite easily, so, we'll chalk that one up as a sub-boss instead. After the battle, we learn that Jess has been kidnapped and Vayne, Nikki, and Pamela head off to find her while Flay stays behind to keep him and Vayne in the tournament.
Apologies for dragging the fight out, I was trying to get the female opponent to do her summon so I'd have the monster down in the encyclopedia, but she didn't want to cooperate. Bah.
Episode 45: Renee & Azure Flame Mana
In this episode, the group finds Jess and sees that Renee is keeping watch over her. Renee says that while she would love to just let them take her, she has to at least make it look like she tried to stop them and the battle ensues.
Renee, in my opinion, is a bigger threat than Tony. Don't let her lazy attitude and nature fool you, in battle, she is a beast and has the ability to summon her Mana to her side. The Azure Flame Mana, a Mana who hates humans, is her Mana. How she ever got a pact with a Mana that hates humans, I'll never understand, but it just amplifies her threat, in my opinion. Not bad for a character equivalent to Team Rocket. Hehe.
Episode 46: Tony, Roxis, & Chapter 4 End
In this episode, Vayne returns to Flay's side for the finals of the battle arena and the fight between Tony and Roxis takes place, and compared to the fight with Renee, its laughably easy.
The only difficult part comes in Roxis. He has some new attacks and has acquired the ability to use Megaheal. So, of course, Roxis becomes first priority. After that, you can just take your time wailing on Tony.

Poor Vayne, he is so lost at times. Didn't even know what cotton candy is??? I bet he's glad he finally came out of the woodwork. lol That first pair was a rather easy fight. Funny how the ref was all about taking Vayne's place in the tourney and the announcer made a big deal out of it and nothing was done. XD The Azure Flame mana seemed pretty tough. Almost all attacks were directed at it and thing just would NOT go down. Renee seemed pretty easy once it was gone. Tony and Roxis didn't seem all that tough either. I suppose focusing on Roxis helped since he only used Megaheal once. Flay made me laugh when he told Vayne he showed up at the last possible moment in true hero-like fashion. All in all, pretty good set of videos with a lot of action and plot building. It'll be interesting to see how things pan out now that Roxis is on the team. I wonder what mana he is going to get.....

Episode 47: A New Term & A New Student
In this episode, we get the familiar black screen with text before the chapter truly begins. Afterwards, the new term has started and there appears to be a unique new student that has caught Flay's eye right off the bat.
This chapter introduces my favorite character in the game, Anna Lemouri. Despite only being 12, she's a freshman at the school, and a master at swordplay and warping time and space to mix in with her swordplay. Suffice it to say, you'll be seeing her in my main party for the rest of the game.
Episode 48: Training Or Running?
In this episode, we mainly go around shopping. However, we do get some cutscenes along the way, one being involving Roxis and a baby kitten, which shows that Roxis isn't so heartless afterall. Another being Flay claiming to be training Anna, yet doing so by running away from her.
Episode 49: The Mystery Bag
In this episode, we do some synthesizing and get some more cutscenes along the way. The major scene involving Jess and her bag. Vayne wonders how it can hold so much stuff, but doesn't get an answer. We also see that Anna has learned more about the school, in terms of getting around to certain places, quicker in her first few days than Jess and Vayne have in their entire time at the school.

It looks like Flay may have found someone as sharp-tongued and quick-witted as himself in Anna. She certainly had him on the ropes when he ran away. lol Lots of shopping, synthesizing, and using the grow book going on in those vids. Not a clue what a lot of the stuff made or bought does, but I'm sure it'll be useful sometime down the line. I wonder if Roxis' new pet is gonna be his mana much like Sulpher is for Vayne. I was a little surprised that Roxis decided to inadvertently help Vayne with making the new heal potion. It seems as if he still has quite a lot to learn about alchemy. I can only imagine that Anna knows her way around better than Vayne and Jess because she has had to chase Flay all over the place. XD So, I guess he is training her in his own way after all. I'm a little afraid to learn what all Jess has stuffed in her bag. It could look like her room. lol

Decided to do a couple more today so... here they are!
Episode 50: Collecting Fruit
In this episode, we head to the Student Affairs to get started on our first class for this chapter, which becomes fruit gathering, but it has a small twist. We need to collect a rare fruit in the process in order to get a better grade.
Episode 51: Night Battles
In this episode, we continue on through the area, as night falls, increasing the monsters aggressiveness and strength in battle, however, this is also one of the times to get a rare fruit, the "Night-in-Grape" in this case, the other one is a Sunrise Orange, which can be gotten at sun up. After we get that, we head to Student Affairs and turn our assignment in.

That's certainly an interesting way of gathering fruit. lol Never thought to use a boomerang before. I liked Anna's attacks, certainly different than what I would expect. The dimensional rip into multi-attacks was very nice. That was a lot of climbing though considering the teacher said they wouldn't have you do something so primitive as climbing trees to gather fruit. I guess that's the first time I have noticed just how aggressive enemies get at night. They looked like a tweaker at 2 AM running all over the place. XD

Episode 52: Stone Emperor
In this episode, we finally get to choose between attending one class or the other, I opt for the battle class because the nurse scares me. Naw, I just prefer the battle classes. The teacher tells us about chain attacking and how important they are and then sets us out to do a battle against the Stone Emperor.
Much like the Stone Watcher fight, you have to beat it in under 30 minutes (30 cards) to get a good grade and the extra is to get a 10 hit chain, which I fail to do, I wasn't able to burst it quick enough (so its health was pretty low) that I only nailed an 8 hit chain. Oh well, still got a B and passed this chapter.
Episode 53: Armed Brownie
In this episode, we enter free time. Already? Hmm, seemed to have gone by so fast this chapter. Well, anyway, like always in free time, we take on jobs for money. We complete a couple of the item fetching and then head off to the Wind Corridor to take on the Brownie who has made himself a mobile machine.
The fight isn't too bad, he's weak to lightning as is a lot of enemies in the game, so Flay + Raiden Charge is all that's really needed, in my opinion. More strategy will have to come into play later in the game but yeah.
Episode 54: The Fairy Trio
In this episode, we turn in the last item delivery job and then head off to the Mana Ruins to deal with the monsters there. First the Fairy Trio and then the group of monsters gathered towards the end of the outskirts.
The Fairy Trio is kind of an easy fight, so I wont say too much on it, other than one of them is weak to lightning... So Flay comes in handy once again. As for the continuous battle, all the enemies there are weak to lightning so... Need I say more? Also, sorry for cutting in the middle of the battle like that, but I had to.
Episode 55: Mana of Light
In this episode, we wrap up the battle with the monsters and then intiate our first Character Quest of Chapter 5. I chose to do Roxis first because he needs to get a Mana! However, even though Vayne was only trying to help, it made Roxis even more distant from him.

Stone Emperor seemed pretty squishy. The fight with it didn't last very long. Armed Brownie on the other hand lasted a little bit. It just seemed to have a lot of health though as I didn't see it really doing too much damage. It may have had 1 or 2 damaging attacks, but so long as health remained high it didn't have much effect. Just took shot after shot while just standing there for the most part. lol Vayne and Anna took a little bit of a beating from the Fairy Trio, but all in all that was a pretty easy, quick fight it looked like. They had a little bit of health, but it didn't seem to matter much. All 3 were taken out without much of a hassle. All the monsters at the end didn't seem too difficult either. I didn't see them doing much damage, even when it came to the boss. They were all beaten rather quickly. A lot of the monsters in these episodes looked strong, but they appear to be very easy. Of course, with them all sharing the same vulnerability for the most part, it's simple to see why they are. Poor Vayne was once again volunteered to handle a situation, twice even. He was lucky not to have to drink whatever Jess made in order to go after Roxis. Seems that Roxis takes everything he does as Vayne trying to one up him instead of help. And that "Mana of Light" as he calls himself? What a bastard. lol Certainly not the attitude one would expect from the mana of light. XD Hopefully Vayne and Roxis both will find a way to get revenge on him.

Episode 56: Anna's Misunderstanding
In this episode, we start Anna's first Character Quest which involves everyone feeling like her strict way of keeping the workshop tidy is suffocating and they all confront her about it, however, she gets the wrong idea and think its a hazing and runs away, and then subsequently defends herself from the party as they try and talk sense into her. Ah, I love Anna.
Episode 57: Defender of Justice
In this episode, we only have one more card of free time and three character quests to choose from. I decide to go with Flay's this chapter, but don't worry, we'll get Nikki and Pamela's some other time. Flay's character quest involves a rumor going about the school of a "Defender of Justice" and how's giving a beat down to all trouble makers in the school.
Episode 58: Vayne's Father
In this episode, now that free time is over, the chapter's story pushes on and we learn that Vayne's father is a world-famous alchemist, though, he sadly passed away. Of course, before he could become an alchemist he had to be a student, so the party sets out to question the teachers about him.

Episode 59: Heaven's Road
In this episode, we head off to see the place that only Vayne's father has seen, but must first go through the Dragon's Grave and Heaven's Road to get there. After getting about halfway to the location, we get a small cut scene between Professor Zeppel and Isolde.
Episode 60: Grandwing Drake
In this episode, the party is confronted by the Great Beast, which protects the lands that Theofratus had entered, but only after defeating the beast. After hearing that Vayne is his son, the only human to have scarred his pride, he attacks the party.
The first fight, don't waste any skills, since you'll only do minor damage to the thing, just wait until the cut scene rolls and then go all out in the second fight. This boss fight also introduces two new attacks, one being the Variation and the other being the Finishing Burst. Very handy attacks that will come into play.
As for the boss itself, he hits like a freight train. One move in particular to watch out for is his Flare Ray, unless you are blocking or have a good solid defense, it is either going to wipe the party out or leave maybe one standing with barely any health points left.
Episode 61: Chapter 5 End & Another Summer
In this episode, we finally see the place that only Theofratus has, and Sulpher claims its another thing that the man didn't deserve to see or do. Sulpher sure does have a grudge against him, huh? We also start off Chapter 6 since Chapter 5 ended in under three minutes for the video. Summer break has rolled around once again, so we get lots of free time! Well, okay, not a lot of it, but enough to get some character quests done with but before that... Jobs!

Episode 62: Girls & Their Fashion
In this episode, we do what we usually do at the start of chapters, buy stuff, synthesize stuff, and explore the campus looking for scenes with our party members. We also turn in a couple of the fetch jobs. Flay thinks it'd be a good idea/cool idea to have a secret underground layer on the floating island while the girls talk about their fashion outside of the school since it demands a certain dress code.
Episode 63: Pamela's Scare Count
In this episode, we continue with our synthesizing and scene searching, where we see Vayne talking to Pamela and she's excited of the new freshman and wants to break into the four digits this summer. We also get a scene during synthesis with Roxis as Vayne and him come up with a new type of clay. I did cut out most of the grow book action, simply because on its own it was over 5 minutes in length. Jeez.
Episode 64: The Puni Brothers
In this episode, we complete the fetch jobs and then set out to do the battle jobs and our first stop is the Resource Center where the Puni Brothers Taro (the oldest), Jiro (the middle) and Kichi (the youngest) are causing trouble. Ahh... I love the Puni Brothers, much like Pamela they are a recurring theme in Gust's games. Sadly, I don't think they have any talking scenes in this game, I can't remember. After dealing with them we take out the group of monsters gathered further in the Resource Center.
Episode 65: Stonewing Beast
In this episode, we head off to the Dragon's Grave - Bone Grove, to deal with the Stonewing Beast that has been reported there. Not too much to the monster, except it can hit reasonably hard and boasts a high HP count. I was wanting to use Jess' finishing burst on the thing to finish it off but it knocked her back on the card table so Roxis went ahead of her and ended the burst mode with his attack. Blah.

Episode 66: Roxis & The Mana of Light
In this episode, we start the second Character Quest of Roxis in an attempt to get him a Mana to pact with and Vayne also tries to apologize to Roxis for upsetting him and we learn of why Roxis hates Vayne, though it is for quite the shallow reason. The Mana of Light also agrees to make a pact with Roxis (after some persuasion by Flay) but only if he does a certain something first.
Episode 67: A Clean Library Is A Happy One
In this episode, we start Pamela's first Character Quest. It seems she hasn't gone to the library in a while and its because a monster has taken over all her duties there and its upset her quite a bit. So, she enlists Vayne and the party to deal with the monster, but it leads to more trouble than it was worth, apparently.
Episode 68: Training With Anna
In this episode, we start Anna's second Character Quest. We see that Anna gets up really early in the mornings to do training and even goes off to dungeons on her own to train her swordplay. However, this time she brings Vayne along, since he got up early and the two tackle Heaven's Road together and Anna thinks Vayne would make a good student. Thankfully, Heaven's Road is fixed at this point for one monster per battle instead of groups. After that, we continue the story of Chapter 6.
Episode 69: Inside The Mana Ruins
In this episode, we head off to the Mana Ruins - Interior. Even though its restricted to Seniors, we are allowed in since Flay is a senior. This dungeon is quite unique. There are a ton of treasure boxes littered about, however, a good number of them hide a Jewel Keeper inside. Think of it as Mana Khemia's Mimic.
Episode 70: Tony Renee & Azure Flame Mana
In this episode, we reach the point of interest and began excavating it, looking for something to turn in for our summer assignment and after finding something, Tony comes to crash the party with Renee tagging along as is the usual for her.
This boss fight can be quite difficult. I consider the Grandwing Drake the turning point in boss fight difficulty and I believe this boss fight is a shining example of that. Tony has gotten a major upgrade since his Battle Arena version, getting new attacks and even mixing in attacks with his Mana. Renee has gotten upgraded as well, relying on status inducing items more than her own strength this time around.
Episode 71: Chapter 6 End
In this episode, we get back to the workshop and inspect the metallic egg. After some tinkering around on it by Flay, it reveals that it is not an egg at all but a tiny spaceship with an alien life form inside who says his name is Muppy. However, he tricks the rest into thinking he's a human with a birth defect and Nikki is the only one who seems to see through it.
I hate Muppy. He's a worthless tack-on-at-the-last-minute character. Aside from his introduction here, he has no involvement in the rest of the story. He's worthless as a character and I am quite disappointed that Gust included him. However, he does have two good points.
One, he has an awesome/addicting theme. And two, he is an excellent support member for party, once you unlock a certain skill when he switches in for Defense, he protects the entire party from an attack by sucking them into his portable ship. So he has his uses, however, from a story and character standpoint, I just dislike him. And I probably wont be using him much, so if anyone is a Muppy lover, get over it.

Been a while on this hasn't it? Ah, well, I'm back on it now and it'll be completed.
Episode 72: Back To School Once Again
In this episode, we begin Chapter 7 with the usual black screen. After that, the group is seen in the workshop discussing things, more importantly, the upcoming school festival, which this year seems to be an Alchemy Trivia event. Other than that, usual chapter start stuff, shopping and synthesizing.
Episode 73: Armor For Anna
In this episode, we mainly do more synthesizing. I would do this off screen as I've said, but some of them lead to cut scenes, and I don't know which one does and which one doesn't. Muppy gives Vayne an idea for a new armor as does Anna, though, Anna's seems more interesting, considering she drew the armor herself.
Episode 74: Pamela & The Principle
In this episode, we wrap up with all the synthesizing we needed to do and then go about campus to get some cut scenes with our party members. We get one with Anna and see that everyone in class depends on her and looks up to her. Other than that, we also see a scene involving Pamela and the Principle and see Pamela's cruel side once again.
Episode 75: Don't Dilly Dally
New YT Time limits. Yaaay~
In this episode, we go to class and take on our next assignment, which is to activate something in the Wind's Corridor. However, after doing so, Nikki decides it will be best for the group to explore the new area and that's what they do, until they are confronted by a wall. To get the "A" you do have to make it to that wall before 10 hours pass, I believe I just barely made it.
Also, after, I went back to the area to gather the treasure chests I ignored on the trip through. The reason I did ignore them is because they would have wasted time.

Episode 76: Tony Renee & Azure Flame Mana #02
In this episode, we head off to the Heights to get our second (and forced) class assignment underway. Its a race to the top - the first Workshop that gets there by sundown wins! They get units and a prize. However, Tony has other plans and like always, he's dragged Renee along for the ride.
Why couldn't I ever get grades for racing in school? Hah.
A lot of the early video is comprised of synthesizing and using the Grow Book. For time, I cut out the Grow Book, which shaved off about 6-8 minutes. So, if you don't want to see all the synthesizing going on, skip ahead to about the... 12 minute mark I'd say.
The boss fight with the three is considerably easier than the time we fought them in Chapter 6. My strategy might not have been the best one to use but it worked for me and that's what matters. Hehe.

Beginning my comments with Episode 56 since that is where I left off. Anna sure did take their criticism the wrong way. lol Despite giving her own to everyone subtly so they keep the workshop tidy, she became very paranoid when they started ganging up on her. She must really hate being hazed. XD She caused quite a ruckus for all of them after she ran off. Poor Nikki didn't stand a chance against a berserk Anna. Roxis seems a little off his rocker to me after planting that trap loaded with gunpowder so he could incapacitate Anna in order to catch her. She was more than willing to cut anybody who got within range. Those 10 poor students who helped Pamela. Bet they didn't plan on getting their butts kicked by a little girl when they woke up. lol Leave it to Vayne to solve the crisis though. Maybe the rest should be as laid back as he is. They wouldn't have these kinds of conflicts if they were! As for Flay's character quest, that was the greatest costume ever! Put on a pair of sunglasses and nobody will recognize you! At least he made more of an effort than Superman! Seriously, how dense are people when they can't tell how a person looks with and without glasses on? lol He certainly proved that he is the toughest of the team, though there was no doubt about that anyway. He sure knows how to dig a quick pitfall trap too! Poor Vayne was all out of breath by the time he caught up after chasing him all over the school grounds. Flay has way too much energy and enthusiasm for a guy like Vayne. lol I suppose that is why their personalities seem to work well with one another. They do to me at least. Can't wait to see more of the character quests. They are all quite interesting to me. Now, on to the next story event! It was nice to finally learn a little more about Vayne's past. Seems everyone knows who his father is but him. lol Poor guy lost his memory, so not really his fault. Anna telling Nikki to stay and listen to the old timer while everyone else left was quite funny. Nikki should be the one spouting remarks like that at Anna though after Anna kicked her butt during the character quest. Anna apologized and begins berating her instead. XD It does interest me to find out more about Vayne's dad as well as why Isolde has doubts that Theofratus is his father. Leave it to Flay to be as one-track-minded as ever though and make a beeline for somewhere only Theofratus has been. It certainly has my interest peaked. Hopefully they can learn more about Theofratus along the way! Not much going on other than a bit of fighting on Heaven's Road. I did like the way several of the enemies looked though. That short conversation was quite interesting to me that took place near the end of the vid. It only leaves more to wonder about as they continue on. I certainly want to know what Zeppel has to show them. Hmmmmm...... That Grandwing Drake was a heck of a fight! The Finishing Burst for both Vayne and Flay were pretty awesome. That Drake sure could take a beating and dish out a lot of damage at the same time. I'm surprised that only 1 person in your party was KO'd from all those attacks. Of course, I'm sure they all are quite powerful themselves. They probably have high attack and defense, which would help a lot in fights like that one. It was a great battle and had some interesting dialogue. I'm looking forward to more like that. Hopefully a few clues about Vayne's dad will be uncovered once they continue on past the Grandwing Drake. Definitely some interesting tidbits at the end of Chapter 5. I wonder why Sulpher has such a grudge against Vayne's old man. It's certainly something I'm hoping to get an answer to soon. Considering we just found out who Vayne's dad is, I doubt the answer will come any time in the near future. I'm interested to see how the independent projects will go over the Summer. I want to know what they are going to make. Poor Vayne though, being left by Flay to clean up the workshop when it's Flay's turn. That patrol excuse and his speedy escapes get him out of chores every time. lol And shame on Nikki for scratching the pillar and almost letting Sulpher take the blame for it! To the corner with you, young lady! Time for you to go off and do some more jobs! Those are always fun, despite not having any real relevance to the story itself. They still provide some great dialogue in them at times and the rewards are always nice. Can't wait to finish them up though so you can do some character quests!

Ya know, that one vendor is really out of the way when you have to travel through monster infested areas to get to it. lol Not a very smart business move on their part. A few quick jobs done and some money spent so you can go make stuff! Always nice to unlock new things to make. I'm sure that Steel Claw will come in handy. Even Flay liked it, so it must be good! Interesting that he wants you to make and sell the Super Alloy Claw. I'll be looking forward to seeing what comes of that conversation when you do get it made. The tidbits about what each girl wears when outside the academy were interesting. Poor Pamela can't even change since she's a ghost so no more switching dresses for her. I guess everyone believes that Jess is hiding a dark side since she likes darker clothes instead of the pink ones she always wore as a child. Not sure anyone could rampage like Anna did though. XD I'll be looking forward to seeing what Flay comes up with for an underground base since he has already started work on it. I guess every superhero needs a secret lair and the Defender of Justice is no different! Wow, Pamela sure has scared a lot of students! She is looking to hit the 1k mark with the next batch of freshmen. Vayne certainly said it right. Pamela is usually so forgetful, but she is accurate when it comes to her scare count. lol I wonder what you will be able to create with the newly discovered Blood Clay that Roxis and Vayne accidentally came up with. Too bad Roxis didn't like Vayne's way of taking down ingredients in his notes. That tidbit was quite entertaining to me. lol Those Puni Brothers were quite powerful. If they had attacked some more, they could have caused some real trouble. Good thing they didn't since they were taking off 150 a hit. 2 hits on any person in the party and they would have been KO'd. But, those chain hit combos you kept going sure made the fight a lot more one-sided. A lot of great combos in that fight and it made it easy to dispatch of the 3 of them. The group of monsters gathered there were much easier. I'm not sure any of them even attacked since they were gone so quickly. lol There were just a lot more of them so the fight seemed longer because of that. But, those big combos helped take care of them. Time for more battle jobs! That was a good battle, about like the Puni Brothers were. Lots of HP, hits hard, but didn't attack much. I like how the Stonewing Beast looked though. It was different from what I expected, which was great. That triple tornado/whirlwind attack that it used was pretty awesome. It would have been cool to see Jess' finishing burst, but I'm sure we will see it eventually. On to the next vid! Well, that was certainly not the reason I expected Roxis to hate Vayne. lol That was a pretty shallow reason. His own family's shortcomings and the success of Vayne's dad isn't a reason to hate Vayne. The fact that he got into the school easily isn't one either considering Vayne himself had no clue who he was since he has little memory of his life. But, it seems the Mana of Light will be making him pay for it. XD Having to shake hands with Vayne and be friends with him in order to pact with the Mana will certainly make Roxis even grumpier. He can't take his anger out on Vayne though! I'm sure it's just the Mana's way of torturing further to get joy out of it. Either way, I guess Roxis will learn his lesson! I'm glad to finally know the reason why he was angry at Vayne though. I was beginning to think it may be another 20 episodes before it said anything else about it.

I'm glad to see someone is enjoying them~ And, don't worry, some of your curiosities will be answered within the game! I wont say any though, because they may be considered spoilers.
Episode 77: Scylla
In this episode, we begin to do jobs, as is the custom in free time. First, we knock out the "Delivery" Jobs as they are quick and easy! Though, Dior's brought about a bit of confusion when I knew I had the item but he wouldn't take it. Damn that Roxis for having it equipped! Hah. Kidding, of course, Roxis is one of my favorites. We also do a bit of synthesizing at the start and end of the episode. This time I left the Grow Book in because it didn't take as long as the last ones.
After playing courier for a bit, the group heads off to the Millennium Tree to deal with a spider-like enemy that has been harassing students that go there. Though, what they find is anything but a spider.
Scylla is kind of like the Grandwing Drake - he boasts a good bit of health and hits relatively hard - enough that you need to keep an eye on some people's health points, namely people with lower HP such as Anna or Roxis.
And, I'm going to do something new here - I'm going to type down the monster's info in the description. No real reason but it gives it a bit of interest.
Encyclopedia - Scylla - A demon born from the legendary killstone. It has six arms, and continues to destroy and kill without rest.
Episode 78: Treasure King
In this episode, we continue to do the jobs we accepted from the Student Affairs office. With Scylla down, it leaves the group of marauding angels at the Heights and the Treasure King in the interior of the Mana Ruins.
The group first sets out to stop the group of angels, as its a continous battle against many types of enemies of the same class, ending in two strong ones that haven't been fought yet. They will though. They will become a regular enemy later, so, I wont list them below in the Encyclopedia listing. That and the fact they do not appear in my Encyclopedia at the present time is another reason. After dealing with the troublesome angels, the group heads off to the Mana Ruins to shut down the Treasure King.
The Treasure King isn't too bad of a boss-type enemy, though he does hit pretty hard and tends to use multi-targeting hits. But regardless of his impressive multi-hitting attacks, he still falls to the group. I also opted to use Muppy and Pamela in these two jobs to net them some AP for their Grow Book. Even so, don't get too comfortable in seeing Muppy in the active party.
Encyclopedia - Treasure King - The remainders of a man who believed the world was after his treasure. He lost both the mind and appearance of a human.
Episode 79: Pamela's Boredom
In this episode, after completing all the jobs available, we begin to do some more Character Quests. First up is Pamela's third one. Everyone is too busy with school work to play and it results in her getting very bored. Anna gets lost in her thoughts as she believes she saw Pamela cry and... well, chaos ensues.
I know this episode is short compared to the last few but I like the Character Quests to be their own videos.
Episode 80: Nikki's Fan Club
In this episode, after the chaotic events involving Pamela and Anna's misunderstanding of the situation, we begin another Character Quest. This time with Nikki since its been a while for her. Vayne is just casually walking along the halls of the school when he is suddenly attacked by two other students! But why?
Episode 81: Budding Friendship or Growing Rivalry?
In this episode, we begin our final Character Quest of the Chapter, as we are out of Free Time after this. This time it's with Roxis. Roxis is still insistent on doing things by himself but Flay suggests he learn how to do co-op synthesis and suggests he learn how to do so with Vayne, much to the Mana of Light's delight.
After that, we begin the Event of the Chapter. Vayne needs a partner for the upcoming trivia festival, but who will he choose? The choice is entirely up to the player! Depending on who you choose, there will be different lines of dialogue for the scenes.

Episode 82: Trivia Contest & Chapter 7 End
In this episode, Vayne finds himself a partner. He asks Anna to be his partner for the event and she agrees to it. It turns out that the so called trivia contest isn't exactly one that involves answering questions but instead figuring out what the demands of each round are. And, of course, Tony plans to one up Vayne and his partner through the entire contest, but in a fair and square manner, as he enters the contest, and drags Renee along.

Pamela caused quite the problem in that episode. Getting the party to help her chase down a monster in the library turned out to have quite the twist to it. lol Took them a bit of searching to find it, but that poor monster certainly got a beating when they did! She made them all look bad when it turned out the monster was doing her job in the library for her and then she just ran off to keep from getting in trouble by everyone. It was worse that the group had to stay and tend to the monster while she got away! They'll certainly have a few things to discuss with her when they finally catch up. lol Vayne sure got wore out in that episode training with Anna. She's like a little firecracker! I'm wondering where she gets all that energy just like he is. lol Perhaps training with her will lead to a few new sword techniques for Vayne. That would be pretty awesome! I'm interested to see that this excavation will get them at the Mana Ruins. It looks like it could prove difficult, especially with Tony and Renee on their trail. It's been a little while since I've seen them in the episodes. I believe it was around the time of the battle arena tournament when they "won" Roxis. It makes me wonder what kind of trouble they will cause for Vayne and the rest of the gang. Only one way to find out! On to the next episode! Not much going on in this episode. A lot of chest opening and a little bit of fighting mimic chests. Mostly just finding the way to the next part of the story. I do like the way Flay and Roxis think at the end of this episode though. Dig up everything! Even if it is school property, if they didn't want you there, they should have done more to prevent you from going! lol It'll be interesting to see what they find. I only wonder when Tony and Renee will catch up to the party and cause more mischief. Renee is awesome. lol She was causing Tony more trouble than Flay and the rest of the group were. Funny how Nikki agged it on juuuuuust a little bit at the end by telling them to take their couples comedy act elsewhere. Guess Tony doesn't like people assuming they're a couple. I forgot how awesome looking his mana was though. It has quite the powerful attacks as well! Definitely a tough battle, but I got to see Roxis in action with the Mana of Light, which was also pretty cool. I look forward to seeing more from them. Those little bombs that Renee kept throwing out were really powerful. They hit the entire party too, so that made the battle even tougher. All the attacks from them took off quite a bit of health. It was good to see them again, especially with such a power upgrade. Flay said it best during the battle, this is getting interesting! Well, Muppy is certainly an odd character. It's hard to believe that the party believed him about being a foreign exchange student considering they excavated him at the Mana Ruins. lol Well, everyone but Nikki believed him. I guess that makes her the smart one, which is troubling. XD The principal was just as gullible as the rest of them. Royalty from Wall'ha? lol I love how they all played along with it and talked about the place like it was a second home during their childhood, even the principal. Flay sure tricked him on that one. Having the little alien around the shop could prove to be interesting. I wonder where he is actually from. I'm sure we'll find out more sooner or later! Quite interesting what they had to say on that black screen. One can only speculate who they are talking about since they never actually say, but it seems to hint at Vayne. I wonder what that special liquid that Jess made for Vayne for his birthday does. Considering she wanted to do a project that creates an item to turn people green, I can only assume that is the effect she was going for with it. lol Though, it could do something completely different since she says she has no idea what it actually does. Using Vayne as a guinea pig is always alright to her I guess. The Sharktail Sword you can create has me interested as well. I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like. I would like to see both the Angel Cloth and Kaiserfish Mail mentioned in that episode. Not a whole lot going on outside of those conversations other than Muppy doing a few tricks and polishing his pod. Nikki and Jess both seemed quite interested in Muppy though, both for different reasons. Nikki seems determined to have the rest of the party "see the light" and figure out that Muppy isn't a foreign exchange student with a birth defect, but an alien in fact. I wonder if she will ever achieve that goal. It'll sure be fun watching her try! That was certainly an odd request by Muppy. Creating clothes for Muppy's long lost lover, that being the Nightmare of Andromeda no less, just so he can sink in nostalgia? lol I was kinda hoping to hear the rest of the story he was going to tell to Vayne instead of it cutting it off. I'm looking forward to these Star Queen clothes though. They should be quite interesting considering their origin. People surely were depending a lot on Anna in class. I guess she will spend some extra time lecturing now since thye keep coming to her. lol That was a nice little tidbit in the conversation with Pamela and the Principal. Even though he asked her out over 40 years ago when he was a student, the Vice Principal sure seemed kinda irked about it. XD The Principal getting a lecture by the Vice Principal, gotta love that! Nikki certainly does make things difficult for everyone else sometimes. lol But, I like how she wanted to explore more. I know I would have wanted to as well. If Vayne keeps on taking these hikes with Nikki and training with Anna, I don't think there would be any stopping him. I do wonder what is beyond that wall now though. You did just barely make it in time. Not sure exactly how close it was, but I know it had to be VERY close. There definitely was no time to be dilly dallying like you said. But, you got an A! I do enjoy the lessons. It helps me to understand how everything works as well as watching you do so in the vids. There were a few interesting enemies as well. Though I didn't get to see too many of their attacks, I do enjoy how many of these are animated. Most of their special attacks seem quite unique. Well, they do to me at least. I'm really liking the Mana of Light and it's attacks. It's quickly becoming my favorite Mana of the party. I am quite curious about something though. I seem to remember at one point that Roxis wouldn't do any combo attacks with Vayne. Now that he has the Mana of Light and considering the conditions given to him to keep the pact with it, will he do combo attacks with Vayne now? I'm not sure if that is what it was exactly, but I seem to remember there being something like that where Roxis would keep away from anything having to do with working with Vayne. The Trick Edge move that Roxis did in the beginning of the fight with Tony and Renee was pretty awesome. Flay made quick work of the Azure Flame Mana too. That poor thing never had a chance. YOu can tell they have been doing quite the bit of training. They were a little behind everyone else thanks to Nikki, but still managed to win the race! Other students attacking them didn't help any, then the run in with Tony and Renee. I wonder how much the other students have been slacking or what happened to them at least in this race that caused them to get behind the group. It must have been one troublesome climb to the top, that's for sure! Vayne and Co. were able to handle it though, so I guess that's why they made it first. Now it's time for some free time!

No, no, the game said (tutorial-esque at least) that Roxis wouldn't help with synthesizing things. Nothing about the in-battle stuff. Anyway, got another three to put down.
Episode 83: Vayne the Helper
In this episode, we begin Chapter 8! And, Sulpher isn't feeling very well. He seems to be getting sick but school has to continue and we do our usual start-of-chapter stuff! Buying new items, synthesizing new recipes and the like. It would be a completely boring episode but we get some scenes strewn about to keep some entertainment value! Scenes involve Roxis asking Pamela for help, Muppy being scared out of his wits, Anna and Vayne cleaning the workshop and Jess petting Nikki's tail once again. Also, Muppy gets a little on-screen battle time. Still, I have to say, don't get used to that. Hah.
Episode 84: Spicy Red Soup
In this episode, we start our classes of the chapter. This time we are given the choice out of four of them. You can pick any that you like, but I went with the two chosen in the video. Professor Zeppel wishes us to travel to the Altar in the Wind's Corridor (Mist) and on the way back, pick up as many items as we can. Note that picking up items on the way to the altar, doesn't count.
After that class is over and we receive our grade it is onto the next one where Dr. Melanie, the naughty nurse, wishes us to synthesize a "Red Soup" but it has to meet her expectations in taste. So, after asking some teachers, we find out that she likes spicy food. To get "Red Soup" to have a spicy effect, you have to get the Ether Level in between a certain number. Not too bad.
Episode 85: Mana Cluster
In this episode, we have entered free time and its time to knock some jobs out of the way! We also get a small scene with Muppy. So, we head on over to Student Affairs and gather them up and then set about to getting them done. First jobs are, of course, the delivery jobs. Simple and easy. After that, we head off to the Wind's Corridor (Abyss) to deal with a gathering of out of control Mana where the group gets to show off some new skills in battle.

Episode 86: Glass Dragon
In this episode, we finish up the jobs we accepted. The remaining two jobs are battle jobs. First we head to the Living Forest to take out a family of Kobold at the request of Arsha. "Violence Without Reason" is the name of the job which makes me wonder if the Kobold family did anything to deserve this assault. Ah, well. Monsters are meant to die in RPGs anyway. After the group takes care of the rascally family, they head off to the Millennium Tree to confront the Glass Dragon. Use fire on it, then use ice on it to destroy its defense. Then its just about surviving until its dead. Not too hard, right? Right! Before setting out, we get a scene with Pamela and then one with Flay and Roxis. Also, Jess finally gets to show off her Finishing Burst~ ^_^
Encyclopedia - Kobold Mama - The mom of a kobold family. She is very good at cooking, and makes deluxe lunches. Currently raising her second child.
Encyclopedia - Kobold Boy - The first son of the family, who still sucks on his thumb. He wishes to be like his dad one day.
Encyclopedia - Kobold Daddy - The head of the house, with a dandy mustache. He was once a famous kobold warrior, and is still very powerful.
Encyclopedia - Glass Dragon - A cowardly dragon with a glass heart. Though a coward, it is still a dragon, and has very strong magic.
Episode 87: Muppy's Tour
In this episode, after completing the jobs that were posted, we begin to do some Character Quests. First up is Muppy's first one. We see that the little diabolical pink puffball plans to take over the school but needs to know his way around and enlists Vayne to give him a tour. Jess tags along and so does Nikki, to keep an eye on Muppy. We also get to see that Jess really likes touching things.
Episode 88: The Dynamic Duo
In this episode, we see that Flay is training Vayne on how to be a Defender of Justice. Having him recite lines and do epic poses. Their training is interrupted by a scream from the Resource Center, though. The two don their butterfly masks and run off to investigate the problem! It seems a monster has stolen the girl's bag and its up to the two heroes to get it back. Will they succeed?
Episode 89: Trapped In The Ruins
In this episode, Vayne accompanies Anna on her training once again. This time they head into the Mana Ruins (Interior) and wind up falling down a hole. The two become trapped and decide to wait for help. Well, that is until Anna's mind runs wild and she demands they leave immediately!
Episode 90: Dangerous Medicine
In this episode, we see that Pamela is taking Alchemy very, very seriously now. Almost always at the cauldron. However, it seems that something has gone wrong with her medicines and its hospitalizing people. So, the group head off to the Wind's Corridor (Abyss) to talk to her about it - well, they put Vayne up to the talking.

Muppy was certainly demanding when telling Vayne to make those Flying Fish Boots. It was a little quirky when he yelled at Vayne about saying aqua-types are useless in RPGs. Vayne never said that, but I guess that is just Muppy for ya. He seems to blow things out of proportion from what I have seen thus far. lol Scylla was a cool fight. There were a couple of attacks that I liked that Scylla did, though I don't know the name to any of them. I always enjoy the attack that Flay did to finish Scylla off though. That double drill is awesome and quite powerful. The Boss Angels had quite the powerful attacks. Storm, Rain, and Divine Light were all very impactful and hit everyone for a good chunk of health. I do enjoy how Anna finished the fight though. I don't remember seeing that move before that she used to end it. I believe Roxis had a new attack as well that involved a card of some sort. I don't remember the name of either attack, but I'm sure I'll see them more down the line as they did a lot of damage. I'm not quite sure what Muppy did to the Treasure King when he abducted him for those few seconds, but it was effective whatever it was. Took off over 500 and finished him off. It was a neat move, though I doubt the Treasure King would agree with me. I certainly feel sorry for Pamela. Anna has quite the crazy assumptions sometimes. XD She wants to "release" Pamela from her sorrow? lol Poor Pamela was just bored and now Anna wants to kill her "for Pamela's sake?" I'm sure she isn't bored anymore while running for her life! I think if I learned anything about Anna so far, it's that once she has her mind set on something, she becomes a little psycho and obsesses about it until the task is finished. I do find her conversation with Vayne and Pamela at the end quite entertaining though. "Fine. For the sake of argument, let's assume I had the wrong idea." "But there's no argument here. It's 100% your misunderstanding..." Classic! We go from Anna and her psycho misunderstandings to Nikki and her crazy fans! It would have been nice if she had warned the rest of the group about the fan club or mentioned something to prevent them being ambushed. lol I did find Flay's way of making her talk rather amusing. Giving Jess free reign to make whatever she wanted and then giving it to Nikki? That's just harsh. XD It certainly did the trick though and Nikki told them what was going on. Perhaps her going to tell her fan club that she has no interest in any of the guys in the workshop will prevent stuff like this happening again. Otherwise, they could become quite the nuisance despite how weak they may be. I'm sure Nikki will get it sorted out of fear that Jess will make a special medicine just for her! I kinda feel sorry for Roxis. lol The Mana of Light is turning out to be a pain in the posterior for him. But, it sure does help in battle. I suppose that's why he puts up with it. I wonder about this book that Flay brought up. He seems to be quite full of useful information at times........when it turns out to be true. lol The book was quite the find for Roxis and Vayne. It wasn't what they expected, but it certainly did help. Sometimes you forget those early lessons, so it's good to go back and read them again to help remind you of something that you may not have used yet. It all worked out for the best and the Mana of Light certainly had fun during the whole ordeal. I wonder who Vayne shall choose as a partner for the Cross Campus Ultra Alchemy Trivia now. Hmm....... I would have been interested in any choice Vayne made to be his partner for the contest. I can see why it was Anna since she is your favorite. I do enjoy her personality though. It can be quite entertaining, as seen in a couple of character quests. lol I feel sorry for Tony in this video. He has virtually NO support from Renee. She is to him what the Mana of Light is to Roxis. XD Not many "questions" in this contest, but things were certainly interesting. It was odd that Tony would forget that the most important thing about catching a fish would be it's size. But, I guess we all have those days. lol I thought it was a great idea by Anna to make a Giant's Ring instead of making something just.....giant but carriable. It was certainly unique. I thought the design of it was cool. Poor Tony had no help from Renee while trying to synthesize either. He just kept on trying though, so at least he has drive going for him. At least Renee was there to let him know time was already up and he should stop trying. lol Vayne was smart to notice how they left after everyone for the Black Muscat but arrived at it before everyone. That screams ambush to me. I'm sure he's getting tired of everyone trying to steal what he worked so hard to get. Too bad for those delinquets that they had to face him and Anna for it. I'm surprised that Tony didn't try to steal the Muscat as well from them. Unfortunately, he messed with the wrong old man. Who knew right? lol The host of the contest certainly took the reason for the Professor being late quite the wrong way. It was entertaining dialogue though. Vayne seemed so surprised they won the contest despite the fact they "answered" each question the best and won each round. Anna was smart to reassure him that he had worked hard for what they got. It was great seeing the two team up for the contest, though it does make me wonder what the dialogue would have been with the rest of the group. I can always search for that though. For now, I'll be continuing on with the playthrough!

I wonder how Sulpher managed to get sick. I suppose that Manas can get sick just like people can. Or perhaps there is a deeper meaning to it that will be explained later? We'll see I'm sure. Roxis seems to be bonding better with everyone in the group. He was rather helpful in the beginning of the video and even had a conversation with Vayne without being an ass to him. lol But, Nikki makes up for it by not telling Vayne that Anna wanted to have a cleaning day the next day. So, Vayne gets stuck....by himself.......with Anna......to clean the entire workshop. Poor guy. I'd make sure Nikki took that medicine that Jess gave Vayne for his birthday a while back. lol That would make her pay for sure! And speaking of Jess, just what in the world is in that bag of hers? XD Flay is searching for Muppy, who apparently went off to the hills to feel the wind (wha? lol), and Jess is just all "Hold on a sec." and reaches into her bag and pulls him out. Muppy didn't know what the hell was going on. lol Some strange shit is afoot! Jess must be hiding a rip in the space/time continuum in her bag! Anywho, I'm sure it scared the bejeezus out of Muppy, but then Flay hurried him along to come with him. Wonder what those two are up to? With Flay, you just never know! Because of that, Vayne should have known better than to tell Flay about Anna's Kappa story. You just know that Flay will bring it up and blow it way out of proportion, which he does at the end of this vid. XD Gotta love Flay and how over the top he can be! Anna certainly didn't enjoy that Vayne shared her story and already plans on getting something in return for him telling her secret. I wonder what that may be.

Just wait until you watch a few more episodes, lol. You'll feel even WORSE for Roxis and not because of the Mana of Light. XD
Episode 91: Chimera & Chapter 8 End
In this episode, the group heads off to seek the advice of the teacher's under Flay's suggestion. They go to Zeppel who tells them a Mana can be healed with a certain medicine but a certain ingredient is required. A Moon Flower. So, the group heads off to the Old Schoolhouse (Closed Area) under his advice. Vayne is unable to fight due to Sulpher being out of commission so its up to everyone else. Along the way we get another scene back at school with Zeppel and Isolde then its back to the group. Once getting to the flower, there lies a great beast in wait for them. Also, sorry for seeming to be lost at times, truth be told, I kind of was. Its been a while since I've explored this area but I believe I picked up all the treasures.
Not being able to Analyze it makes the battle a tad bit harder, seeing as you wont know how much damage you've done to it overall. On top of that, the Chimera hits pretty damned hard. Pamela is useful in this fight, in my opinion, if you have her "Physical Immunity" skill learned - as a ghost, she's learned to be immune to any and all physical attacks, unless they come with a magic element to them. So, if the bosses "Disaster" attack is constantly targeting her, it'll just keep missing! The boss also isn't weak to any elements but Nikki can do some extra damage (and build the burst chain quicker) as she does extra damage to "Beast" type enemies, so long as you have learned the right skill for it.
After the battle, the area still isn't clear of monsters and the group is quite obviously worn out after the battle with the Chimera. However, they are saved by possibly the most unlikely pair.
Encyclopedia - Chimera - A fusion of multiple beasts. Rarely born in nature, they are endangered, which may be why they always group together.

Episode 92: Family Fame
In this episode, we start Chapter 9 and go about our usual stuff. Checking the shops for new recipes to make, synthesizing those new recipes and getting a ton of scenes with the rest of the group around Campus. Between this episode and the next I'll be exploring the two new areas that opened up to gather up the treasures in their locations.
