What is this?
This is going to be a league, or possibly leagues, where users sign up for a spot and compete against each other in online matches. There will be an organized schedule, so there is no RPing to get matches as you will already know who your opponent is going to be. Think of it like in basketball, baseball, football, and other sports when they know the schedule ahead of time of who they will be facing and when. The same concept will be applied here. If you should need any further information as to how everything will work, please contact me via PM.
Who can participate?
Everyone who is a member of OWN and has access to play SvR 2010 online.
Is this league only on one gaming system?
I will be running a PS3 only league. If someone else who has a 360 would like to run a league on that system, feel free to contact me via PM in order to get it started.
Is this going to be a CAW Only league?
The PS3 league I will be running is CAW Only. If someone would also like to run a league on either system that is for the WWE Superstars Only or for a mixture of the two, feel free to contact me via PM in order to get it started.
Is there going to be a gender restriction?
Not in the league I will be running. There will be a male and female division. A Mixed Tag division is very iffy depending on interest. This does not apply to all leagues. They will have their own guidelines for you to follow.
What is the roster size going to be?
Since this won't be taking up space on my PS3 and I won't have to build up each CAW, it's currently unlimited for each division.
How many CAWs will I be allowed to use for each division?
You can submit up to 2 males and 2 females. This is subject to change depending on participation.
Are there any restrictions that should be followed?
Yes. Let me set out a few guidelines that will need to be followed in order to participate in my league.
1. Fired Up ability is BANNED.
2. No move spamming. What this means is don't go using the same move 3 or more times in a row. Also, it means don't use the same move 2 times, do a different move, then use the previous move 2 more times. Use a mixture of moves to keep things interesting.
3. No complaining about losing. The ONLY EXCEPTION to this rule is if somebody was move spamming in your match. If so, PM ME about it and I'll deal with it. If you do make such a claim, I want VIDEO EVIDENCE. This means you need to whip out that cap card and record the match in order to be able to show me. Otherwise, I can not take the word of one side over the other.
4. Have fun! This isn't about seeing how quickly you can beat someone in a match. This is about having fun online without needing to worry about your opponent being cheap and taking away from the good time you SHOULD be having. Have a blast doing all kinds of crazy stuff!
5. Recording your match is OPTIONAL. Recording is not a requirement, but I expect you to be honest about who won and who lost because wins and losses will play a factor in the league.
How will wins and losses effect the league?
Wins and Losses will determine your rank in the league. There will be titles to compete for. The higher in rank you are will determine which titles you can compete for. The roster size of the league will determine the amount of titles used. The list of what I plan on using is provided below.
World Heavyweight Championship - The top 10 in the Male Division can compete for this. The holder of this belt will always be Rank 1 for the division, no matter their win/loss record. This will leave 9 others who can contend for it. This title will be defended once every 4 weeks. The champion may defend it more often if they choose to do so.
Intercontinental Championship - The top 20 in the Male Division can compete for this. This title will be defended once every 2 weeks. The champion may defend it more often if they choose to do so.
Women's Championship - The top 10 in the Female Division can compete for this. The holder of this belt will always be Rank 1 for the division, no matter their win/loss record. This will leave 9 others who can contend for it. This title will be defended once every 4 weeks. The champion may defend it more often if they choose to do so.
Diva's Championship - The top 20 in the Female Division can compete for this. This title will be defended once every 2 weeks. The champion may defend it more often if they choose to do so.
World Tag Team Championships - There will be a set of Tag Team titles for each division. Any 2 users can team up to challenge for these. HOWEVER, those who remain a tag team will have a MUCH HIGHER chance of receiving a shot than any random pairing just looking for gold. These titles will be defended once every 2 weeks. The champion may defend it more often if they choose to do so.
Cruiserweight Championship - This title will have a place in BOTH divisions. That means each division gets one. They don't compete for the same belt. Anyone in the division can compete for this, though there are some restrictions. Males and Females must be Light Heavy or below. Heavy and Super Heavy CAN NOT compete for this. Also, they must have Springboard Dives OR Diving Attacks as one of their abilities. Both ARE NOT required, though you may have both if you would like. This title will be defended every week.
Hardcore Championship - This title will have a place in BOTH divisions. That means each division gets one. They don't compete for the same belt. Anyone in the division can compete for this, though there is a restriction. You MUST have the Object Specialist ability to compete for this title. This title will be defended every week.
Now, let me make something clear so there is no confusion. If you are a champion, you CAN NOT compete for another championship.
Let me say that again.
IF YOU ARE A CHAMPION, YOU CAN NOT COMPETE FOR ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP.
This only applies to the CAW(s) you have that hold a championship. Your other CAWs may compete for titles upon approval.
What do you mean by upon approval?
If you want a title shot, you must PM ME to receive one. If you don't, you will simply be scheduled in regular matches. If multiple people PM me about a shot at a certain title, wins/losses will come into play. Don't expect to get a one on one match for any title. The only ones that will be defended one on one MOST of the time will be the World and Women's Championships. However, these titles can also be defended in multi-person matches. All titles CAN be defended in one on one matches, but often times they won't be. The interest level and win/loss records will play a factor in how many contenders receive a shot.
How often will we have matches?
You will have one match each week. It is up to you to coordinate with your scheduled opponent to have the match. I will not set a date and time for you. Matches will be posted on Sundays and you will have until the following Sunday to complete them and inform me of the results.
What happens if we do not complete our scheduled match?
The match will go down as a draw in the records of all competitors involved.
Can we request a match against an opponent?
Yes. Feel free to do so. PM me with the request and I will contact the person. If they give the OK, I'll make the match.
Can we request the match type be changed for our scheduled match?
Yes. HOWEVER, keep this in mind. Most of the time, special match types will be reserved for title matches. Ongoing feuds will be allowed to use special match types. Also, Falls Count Anywhere and Extreme Rules matches will be used often in matches for those looking to contend in the Hardcore Divisions.
Are we required to use any arena in specific? If so, how will we know which one to use?
There will be a preferred arena provided on the card of each show. If you are going to record the match, you MUST use the arena provided on the card. If you don't record it, I'll never know which one you use so pick whatever floats your boat.
Will there be PPVs/Showcases?
Yes. Expect one every 4 weeks. ALL titles will be on the line, regardless of when the last defense was.
Well, that is all I can think of at the moment. If you have any further questions, feel free to either post them below or PM me. Thanks!
