In this thread, I would like all of us to compile a list of things that will help all of us out when playing 2010.
I'll give an example that Kaoz found out regarding movesets.
On 2010, your CAW is allowed 4 outfits. Yes, 4. That means a primary attire and 3 alternate attires. In all 4 attires, you can also edit the Cinematic and Entrance attires. So, you can have 12 attires total for your CAW and it only takes up ONE CAW slot. Cheers!
How does this relate to the movesets? Well, you get alt attires by copying your primary into "alt attire slot 1" etc. When you copy these, the moveset for your CAW returns to DEFAULT! Therefore, MAKE SURE you create all of your attires before creating your moveset. Otherwise, you will be very angry when you have to recreate it after running into this major hiccup. I'm not sure if this applies to created entrances, but I'm going to say play it safe and assume it does.
Another helpful hint concerning alt. attires. They are basically like Superstar Threads to my understanding, only they can have more than colors edited. Articles of clothing must remain the same on all of them, but designs/logos/etc. can be changed on each. So, if you delete an article of clothing like a shirt, elbow pads, knee pads, boots, etc. it will be deleted on ALL of the attires. This is how I understood what I read. If someone who does indeed already have the game could confirm, it would be much appreciated.
Also, any extra helpful advice you can offer would make things easier on all of us before we get the game and dive into the creation modes.

You pretty much hit it on the nail with all of the info you posted. I tested an incomplete caw to see if editing an alternate resets the entrances as well as the move-set, and I can confirm that it does. So PLEASE people, save yourself the headache. If you're going to make alternates, make them all before you start on your entrance and move-sets.
Male caws will be substantially easier to build stats for, due in part to the CAW RTWM. It only took me a two our sitting to get a caw up to 80. (May take longer the 1st time you play, because you naturally wanna watch the cutscenes.) The hardest matches you'll play are the multi-man matches. But if you put the game on easy you should do fines. I won't spoil what matches you'll have, but I'll say you'll have plenty of opportunity to rape the AI on easy to get big time points. Females will have to be worked on in Career mode, but since you level up faster, it softens the blow.

I've been informed that it also resets the Rivals as well. So, before you do anything else after the initial creation of your CAW, go ahead and copy into the alt. attire slots. You may not be using them right away, but if you go on to create everything else and come back later to do it, you'll be recreating again.

Some more tool tips and early glitches for CAW Mode:
- When editing a logo in the edit layers menu, it will always display layer one for each category, and for letters it won't show any letter selected. DO NOT MOVE ANOTHER TO ANOTHER SELECTION. Just wait for it to load up (you'll know when it does when the model "skips") then hit X or A respectively to go to the movement menu. I moving to another selection makes the design reset, and you have to resize and place it all over again. DON'T DO IT. It only shows the 1st selection, the logo on your caw is still the one you had initially selected.
- When you create your caw's looks in full as far as the in ring attire, go to "Other" then select "Edit Entrance Attire". When it asks "Would you like to copy the current attire?" choose yes. It will give you 2 selections to copy from, the ring attire and the cinematic attire. ALWAYS CHOOSE RING ATTIRE TO COPY TO YOUR ENTRANCE ATTIRE. If you don't, your caw will come out to the ring in his/her underwear. With Edit Entrance Attire active, create your entrance attire by adding to what's been copied from the ring attire. When done, select "Edit Cinematic Attire." Copy your entrance attire to be your cinematic attire, and you're done. If your caw has no entrance attire, copy your ring attire to both entrance and cinematic.
- Crotch blur only appears on the front of male caws, and on the front, back and chest pf females. You can still fit lettering above the blur if you really want to.
- Unfortunately, there are no longer patterns for clothing, just the default colors and the custom color changer.
- Placing logos on 3D parts such as pants, boots and elbow pads apply the design to that specif part, not the body part it's on. When moved, the will not overlap onto the limb, they'll just "pass through" the bottom of the part. Great for those who want add some added designs to their gear.
- WWE logos can only be applied to the caw's skin on the arms, by way of editing the wrist bands. They can't be applied to the torso.
- If you delete a part you out logos on, the logos delete as well.
- Certain wristbands cut in half (Show on the front of the arm, but not on the back.) when you try to change the length. Safest bet is to stick with the default on, of the short one.

Good stuff to know. Just a small tidbit without giving anything away. In the Brand Warfare RTWM, you can play it either in Single Player OR Co-Op.

So, easiest way I found to build stats so far is in Extreme Rules matches. You can use lots of weapons without worrying about DQ and use SS moves to build up Submission on the outside without having to worry if the opponent will tap out. Make it a title match and you get more points. Once you wear down your opponent, let them try hitting you and work on countering to build up technique.
You can essentially build up all 8 stats each time you play this match. So, it should take but about 10 matches to be where you need to. You assign stats after the match is over, then can choose rematch without having to go through the process of selecting everything again in order to build them up some more.
If anyone else has found different/successful ways to build stats, be sure to let everyone know!

Another tidbit of info. If you happen to forget to make alt. attires before doing movesets, entrances, etc. there IS a way to make alt. attires without having to redo it all. Simply go to your Original attire, do the edits you want, then after you click Submit Application the game will ask if you would like to save it as an alternate attire. Click yes and there ya go, alternate attire with everything else still intact and nothing reset to default.

I am not sure if this is a tip or not. You may have thought of this before but those of you that are on PS3 are limited to 32 layers so say you make your attire you have maybe 10 at most for designs to use? Say you wanted to create bands around the bottom of the tights or at the top, why not create the band in the paint tool that way you can create a band say blue with white trim? Paint tool has a line tool.
Sorry if this seems like I am stating the obvious but some may not have considered this. I know people are seeing the paint tool and thinking its for elaborate designs but are ignoring that it can be used for what I call layer conservation.
Remember it also has a circle and square tool also, these are features that most people can use IMO.
360 users can use this also, but I felt was more valid for PS3 peeps. ;D
