man I knew it was gonna happen but whats all the hate for Evans? No hatred just a taste of his own medicine.. I much rather not see his idiot ass on my screen dumbing down my experience of the UFC i had enough of that before Zuffa took over,At least another puppet TUF guy has gone down in flames after he shot his mouth off and called the round he was going to drop Machida in.

I like Rashad Evans. He's a personality, something that the UFC I feel needs. You need guys that you love to hate, which is probably why I'm such a big Josh Koschek fan. Evans is still evolving as a fighter, but there is no one in the Light Heavyweight Division that has an answer for Machida...PERIOD. He's on a whole other level then anyone else. Dare I say the one guy who'd probably give him a fight is that Silva fella...and I ain't talkin Wanderlei. If you're going to make an argument as to who's the best in the world Pound For Pound, Machida's gotta be at the top of your list considering that the other two guys Fedor Emilienko and a Anderson Silva...as good as they are...have lost fights before. Machida hasn't. That's the definition of perfection. The guy has never even lost a ROUND yet in UFC. There's not a fighter in the world that has an answer for him. Get used to Machida being champion for a long, looooooong time. Baring someone catches a Matt Serra Vs. GSP stroke of luck against him, no one is taking that belt off of him.

Machida i had ranked in the top 3 pound for pound way back in the Sam Hoger fight. During that fight i noticed that he never got hit that much and had a very weird style and considering the Japanese media dubbed him "The Second Inoki" when he was first in MMA. I find it very interesting when a few yrs ago he would have been laughed outta the UFC ring because Karate is a "useless style" for the UFC.
As for the "heel" Evans they have enough blow hards in the UFC already..BUT he does have skills that he didnt have in the TUF show, that said he should have stayed in the HW divsion where they are very lean on top quality fighters.i would LOVE to see him and Nog or Mir bang that would be awesome.
I kinda sad though that i think the Pride guys have been passed by by the sport many of the Pride guys like Henderson(man hes a monster in every sense of the word)have come to the end of the line i think. Fedor to me isnt the top pound for pound in the world, that goes to fellow Canadian GSP, dont like his attitude much but he is striving to build his LEGOCITY as he says in frenglish XD.
And Anderson Silva would have been beaten by Cote if the knee had of held out.
Machida will be ,unless Kaos666's point happens, be champ for a long time GSP/matt hughes style.
end of long wall of text post XD
