SO! Who are your picks to go to the Finals and win the Finals?
Lakers vs. Nuggets
Well, I really don't like Kobe. So, I'm going with the Nuggets for the upset and making the first trip to the NBA Finals for the franchise. If only their owner had as much faith in them to not double book the arena. XD
Magic vs. Cavaliers
I like both teams. I preferred Celtics over the Magic, but considering they pulled out a win IN CLEVELAND in Game 1, I'm more excited about this series now. Seriously. Cleveland lost 2 games at home all season long. Big ups to the Magic. Can't wait to see Game 2! But, as far as who moves on? I'm gonna go with Cleveland. They didn't sweep 2 teams in the Playoffs for nothing!
And to win it all? Going with Cleveland again. Lebron James has brought this team to a new level. The Cleveland we saw 5 years ago is long gone. They are a threat and will remain to be for as long as Lebron James is with the team.
Between both of these series, I expect great things. There has been 3 games played, all of which were won by 1 point, 2 points, and 3 points. All have been thrillers in the end. Great stuff coming from all the teams.
So, who else has been paying attention?

What I hate is how everyone tries to compare him to Jordan. Yes, Lebron is good. He might be the most complete offensive and defensive player in the league. He's the youngest guy to ever win the MVP award. But he'll never be Jordan. Maybe if he wins 5 more MVP awards and 7 NBA titles, but that's not even enough as lofty as those milestones are, because he'd have to match or come near Jordan's career points total of 32,292, 10 Scoring Titles, 14 NBA All Star Team selections, 11 All NBA Team Selections...I can go on. So while I do enjoy watching him play, and I enjoy the fact that he might be a Knick in the near future, (Crossing my fingers for that one) let's hold off crowning him the greatest player of all time. As good as he is now, he's still no where even close to MJ. And won't be for a long time coming.
As far as my finals prediction, I say Nuggets Vs. Cavs, with the Cavs taking it in 6. I don't think the Lakers will be able to go the distance again Denver, and Orlando is to streaky for me to pick them over the Cavs.

Yes, Jordan was great. Probably the greatest player to step onto a basketball court. I never even cared for Jordan myself, but I can agree with that. People can say whatever they want about Lebron as well. You gotta look at the team Jordan had backing him compared to who Lebron has as well. Mo Williams is NO Scottie Pippen, who is an ARKANSAS NATIVE by the way. They don't have a strong rebounder like Dennis Rodman was either. There are no Tony Kukoc's or BJ Armstrong's to be found around Cleveland's roster either. SO, while you praise Jordan and all he has done, look at the All-Star lineup he had backing him as well compared to who James has backing him. The Cavaliers are in the playoffs BECAUSE of Lebron James. The Cavaliers had the best record in the NBA BECAUSE of Lebron James. While he may not be on Jordan's level YET, I can see him surpassing Jordan down the road. And in today's game? I think that counts for more since there are A LOT more all-stars out there then there was in Jordan's time. That's just my opinion though.
