So, I'm trying to make it so I can save the video files without them being these huge 300 MB files for like a 25 minute video. I tried the editor 3X preferred, but I couldn't even get my cap card to show up on it. Maybe I did something wrong? I don't know. Either way, anyone got a program or settings to test out with Studio 10 to shrink these things down so their not so large? I'm trying to cut down on saving and uploading times without giving up video quality. Anyone got any tricks or tips?

Looking around for a Video Converter for ya, I use mine to convert them from MPEG to WMV format and it shrinks them from say 300mb to roughly 70mb files when I do this, saves on uploads times indeed

Mine are saved as .wmv files already using Studio 10. If someone has a better program for editing, please send it my way.

Medium Quality NTSC videos. Or cut them in Windows Movie Maker and post them.

If using WMM, which setting would you prefer publishing the movie in? Like which video quality?

Medium Quality NTSC videos. Or cut them in Windows Movie Maker and post them. That's how I do them as well. Video for Broadband (512 kbps) at 352x240 output on moviemaker. It offers decent quality and low compression rates. 15 minutes of footage is only about 45-50mb. I've been using this format for years now.

I always did High Quality, small video. Me, however, I use Adobe's encoding software and video editing, because it still lets me run a 720x480 resolution at a similar file size to WMM. Check our vids sometime, they're pretty clear, although it is a TON of hard drive space to do a show. Record in Pinnacle at the best AVI resolution, and encode it with Adobe NTSC High Quality Download settings.

From now on, all videos will be Medium Quality and 320x240. That's how I'm saving them. I asked a couple people to compare the Bull/Kira vs. Anjyleka/Kitsu tag match to the Casey vs. Sarah match and they told me they saw little difference in them, if any. Well, tag match was saved as high quality 720x480 compared to Medium quality 320x240 for Casey vs. Sarah. The file size difference is almost 250 MBs though. I realize the tag match is much longer, but the vid would have been half the size if saved in Medium quality. This will allow vids to save faster, upload faster, and stream faster. So, it'll make things quicker all around. Cheers! ^_^
