Ok, let me 1st give a synapses of what you're about to listen to. It's called Gabber, but most commonly known as Hardcore. (The REAL followers of the music call it Gabber though.) It's for better or worse the bastard child of Techno. Way back in the late 80s-early 90s Techno spawned into 3 different genres, Trance, House and Gabber. Gabber being the darker, more visceral rendition of classic Techno, whereas Trance was more instrumental in base, and House more vocal. While Trance and House have evolved since then, Gabber has pretty much stayed the same for all these years. Gabber is also the 1st form of Electronica I really got into along side of Techno, and then eventually Trance. This song was released in 1998 on a music compilation called "Thunderdome", which is still in circulation now. (I believe it's up to volume 59) The following song was on Thunderdome 19, and is 11 years old...but still as good now as when I 1st heard it.

This is my 1st time hearing this, but I like it. This is some aggressive shit to say the least. I always though Hardcore was that happy, peppy shit you hear on DDR. This is like that on an LSD trip and a chainsaw grafted to it's junk. I must hear more now.

Trust me, it gets worse. Thunderdome is the definitive compilation of Gabber, but in no way is it the only one. And Gabber gets WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more extreme, vile and violent then this. You can think of Gabber being to Electronica what Death Metal is to Rock. Satanic references, violence, drugs, all kinds of good stuff, lol. Also, you'll hear a lot of hip hop vocals sampled in Gabber tracks as well. This one is one of my personal faves by THE LEGENDARY Omar Santana.
