Graphics: 10/10 This game has phenominal graphics. Often times art for the stuff looks better than the in game models. This is not the case with War For Cybertron. I often prefer the in game models to concept art in this case. Characters often have little moving parts on them which are a nice small detail. Definitely top of the line in the graphics department.
Sound: 9/10 The sound effects are very well done. Guns sound powerful, transforming sounds different but familiar. And voice acting was well done. My only complaint is the music doesn't seem as good as the in game conversations or sound effects.
Story: 8/10 Campaign is split up into 5 Deceptacon chapters and 5 autobot chapters. The Deceptacon campaign takes place before the Autobot one so I recommend starting with Deceptacons so you know why you're doing what you're doing as Autobots. The story isn't the greatest, but it moves the game along nicely and provides you with some nice background information on the Transformers universe.
Controls: 9/10 This is what I was worried about the most when it came to this game. Thankfully this exceeds in every way. The controls are simple and responsive. Transforming in the middle of combat is fast and easy. My favorite thing to do is boost to my victim as a vehicle, transform while moving and unleash a quick melee attack. I definitely feel like I'm playing a transformer lol.
Single Player/Campaign: 9/10 The campaigns are fun and usually fast paced, however I do prefer the Autobot campaign to the Deceptacon one. The Autobot just seems more like a campaign while Deceptacon one feels more like a bonus mode/campaign. But I'll face the Deceptacon final boss over the Autobot one. And with 3 transformers to choose from for each mission and 3 difficulty settings, I see myself playing campaign mode more than once.
Multiplayer: I unfortunately cannot judge because they didn't add an offline option so I can't try co-op or Escavation with my mom or brother to see if it's any good.
Overall: A definite buy if you're a Transformers fan. A buy if you like shooter games. And a definite rental to at least try it if smashing giant robots on a planet so big you feel small doesn't appeal to you. I just wish they had added the ability to play offline multiplayer.
