Carth OnasiWhy do I like Carth, he is a very serious yet can be a very witty and intelligent character. Many of the characters in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic are very well developed and it's no surprise to me really because BioWare really takes their time and puts effort into creating characters with depth to them. Carth is an intelligent, veteran military stratagist and pilot who's backstory is full of betrayal and death; he is a man who has gone through a lot as a person and yet survives day to day maintaining his composure. He has several witty comments throughout the game when you play with Mission because she is a kid and he's an old man, so they constantly pick on each other. Carth is also quick to criticize the Jedi and their mysterous methods and codes; this all relates to his backstory and his issues with trust due to betrayal. He is a well thought out and developed main character whom I thoroughly enjoyed having in my party during Knights of the Old Republic.

GarrusThis Turian is first introduced to us in Mass Effect as a member of C-Sec Security (Citadel Security) who's job it is to investigate the accusations of Saren being a rogue Spectre (in a sense "the bad guy"). He meets Commander Shepard and the two eventually pander through different areas of the Citadel to find proof of Saren's wrong doings. Mass Effect 2 is a different story, but I won't ruin that. Why do I like Garrus ?? I like him because he is intelligent and well spoken, he may be an effecient killer, but he has strong morals and a true sense of justice so there are always reasons behind his killing. He never kills for the sake of killing. It's these traits that make Garrus a unique character; he has very real human qualities for an alien. Having strong morals and sense of justice are great qualities for any human to have, being intelligent and well spoken are signs of a very refined character. He is an interesting guy and can't wait to see where they take his character in Mass Effect 3, especially if you're a female Shepard and he's "your man".

I actually like the whole Turian race style, it just seems a blend of many things, but doesn't seem stolen if that makes any sense. Just the facial design on them seem well done to me. I am talking more the concept than the render, the render is nice though.

I understand what you mean, I like the Turian race and their features quite a bit.

Yeah, I think a lot of the aliens in mass effect are nicely done. I find some humorous too like the ones who can't express emotions so they say the expression before the sentance. "Human, delighted welcome, it is good to see you" etc. They have me laughing a lot, which is a nice break in a game I find.

WrexDry humour is what makes Wrex well....Wrex. Ya, this huge Krogan from Mass Effect may seem like the stereotypical tough guy but far from the truth. Wrex is a being who is focus on the improvement of life for the Krogan people as is seen in the 2nd Mass Effect game. He also shows strong family values when trying to recover his grandfathers armor. All together Wrex is a big softy who comes off as tough because of exterior appearance but this witty character is more than meets the eye. Though you still would never call him a wimp

AndersWhile I felt no real emotional attachment to the majority of the characters in the Awakening expansion to Dragon Age; Anders was an exception. I knew he would be when the first words out of his mouth were: "I didn't do it......well not entirely" I love funny characters in video games and for Dragon Age tending to be a dark fantasy game he helps brighten things up with his jokes and makes it fun to listen to him. His BEST comic moments are when both he and Oghren are in your party; the banter back and forth between them is priceless. While not a front runner for one of my most favourite male game characters ever, Anders humour made helped him get on my list.

LinkWhat can I say about Link, yes you may be able to change his name in the screen, but he's always going to be Link. A true hero through and through always there to rescue Princess Zelda regardless of the situation he is put in. Time travel, season changing, changing of light to dark, musical animals, etc.....no matter what Link is given he makes the best of it; defeats the boss which is more then not Ganon. He is one of the best staples of Nintendo.

Sam FisherThe true stealth master of the new gaming generation who started off as a mere puppet member of an organization, Third Echelon, and by the time you reach Splinter Cell: Conviction; a father who's only goal is to discover what happened to his daughter regardless of the cost to his own life or the the lives of others. I think that Sam started out as just a cookie cutter stealth guy but really grew into his own as a character in the last two games Double Agent and Conviction; especially Conviction because you see the emotions he has while trying to find out what happened to Sara.
