Well, almost two months to the day when I said I was going to "hurry up" and finish my DA1 file and I still haven't done it. For what it's worth. I am in Awakening now. Just felled the first boss of the expansion earlier today and felt like screen capping it. I also have some screen caps from the Broodmother and Archdemon fights from Origins. Once I condense them into a singular photo like this, I'll add them in here too.
The Withered~
The first of the Disciples encountered. The Disciples are an advanced form of darkspawn, capable of speech, free will and tactical warfare. Making them more human-like. Although, The Withered's speech isn't the best, kind of a broken dialect as example with this line he says: "Be taking this one gently... We are wishing no more death than is necessary." He also orders the death of everyone but The Warden (you). But, well, we see how that turned out.
And, minor complaint incoming! His body is not lootable, despite his items (weapon and shield) being in the game and registered as lootable from his body. The reason he's not lootable is upon his death, cut scenes immediately play and you can't return to the area you fought him in. *Sadface*

Well, I'm not sure if its considered theft if they are dead! But yeah, I've been trying to find a way (mods) to add his items to my inventory but haven't found anything yet. Oh well.
"Day one, they come and catch everyone. Second day, they beat us and eat some for meat. Third day, the men are all gnawed on again. Fourth day, we wait and fear for our fate. Fifth day, they return and it's another girl's turn. Sixth day, her screams we hear in our dreams. Seventh day, she grew as in her mouth they spew. Eighth day, we hated as she is violated. Ninth day, she grins and devours her kin. Now she does feast, as she's become the beast."
Now you lay and wait, for their screams will haunt you in your dreams.
"In Darkness eternal they searched, For those who had goaded them on, Until at last they found their prize, Their god, their betrayer: The sleeping dragon Dumat. Their taint Twisted even the false-god, and the whisperer Awoke at last, in pain and horror, and led Them to wreak havoc upon all the nations of the world: The first Blight."

This boss fight takes place in Kal'Hirol. I know to those of you who haven't played the game that doesn't mean much at all but I'm just putting it in perspective. This place is where we recruit Sigrun and see that there are two warring factions of Darkspawn. One side dedicated to what they call "The Mother" and the other to a Darkspawn by the name of "The Architect"
"The Lost" attacks you but only after you see him taunting a member of sided with The Architect. Well, taunting him before his Inferno Golem rips the thing in two. Yep, its a boss battle consisting of two bosses.
The Lost seems to be more intelligent than The Withered in the way he talks. Not using broken dialect for one. His main thing is to cast spells. Which is bad. Spell casters are never a good thing in any game. However, so long as you have someone hitting him, chances are you'll interrupt any of his big spells (the ones that need to be charged) but that doesn't mean he's completely useless without his big spells. Even instant cast spells like "Fireball" can be deadly if it hits the right person. Anyway, I usually make spell casters my top priority when fighting a group that has one. Made even more clear when a spell caster is ranked as a Boss.
"It's so much better when it's on fire!"
Centuries ago, during the dwarven empire's golden age, dwarves commanded vast armies of Golems. Golems guarded the thaigs and patrolled every branch of the Deep Roads. As men of steel and stone, they were eternal, indestructible, and perfectly obedient.
But Paragon Hirol was not satisfied. He wanted Kal'Hirol's Golems to be greater. In his forge, he gave them hearts like furnaces that would burn evermore. Thus became the inferno Golems, with eyes that burned and veins coursing with molten lava.
And, here we have the second Boss of the fight. Along with The Lost, this boss battle can prove to be a tough one. The Inferno Golem is resistant to all fire magic, which makes sense. It also cannot be stunned or be struck with critical hits. If The Lost is taken out first then that makes this guy a little bit easier to manage. Well, in my opinion.
PS - Clayre wasn't the one who delivered the killing blow to it. It was Oghren. Yay Oghren~ Show that Golem who's boss!

The First. He was sent to Blackmarsh on orders of The Mother to send the Warden-Commander and her allies into the Fade, however, he went into the Fade as well, and quickly came to the conclusion The Mother saw him as expendable. Vowing revenge he took off.
If you're wondering why there is no "deathblow" in the pictures its because as soon as the final hit is registered on him a cutscene plays and The Baroness uses his life energy to send everyone out of the Fade, herself included.
The Baroness, now free of the Fade, claims she will make the world bow to her and call her its Queen. Well, not if Clayre and the rest of them has anything to say about it. Not content to fight in her 'human' form, The Baroness transforms into a much larger form, the Pride Demon that has taken over her.
Queen of the Blackmarsh is an optional boss. So, no need to go into details about the encounter. Just know that as an optional boss its quite the challenge from a normal, storyline boss.

Should have known Bryan mentioning something would get him going XDD
This next character is a joint character by me and a friend of mine named Garrett. Joint in thought, though I generally always give him life into video games. Cause I'm just that awesome at doing it. Anyway, I've made him once or twice before but have never shown him off publicly except for the Tekken 6 incarnation, but that was just an edit to an already existing character. I've also used him in a couple of stories I've done in the past, though never a major role. His first major role is in a story I am writing currently, which revolves around the Saints Row universe. He's the leader of the most powerful gang in the city.
Papa isn't his real first name, obviously, but we never could decide on an actual first name for him and as a joke, we had the rest of the Mafia call him "Papa" instead of "Don" - and the name "Papa" stuck.
So... Papa Giovanni it is! Aged roughly into the mid 50's, he's the leader of the Giovanni Family, a Mafia themed family. He didn't get to the top just because he's the oldest though. Many think of him as fragile due to his old age, and in a way, they are right. He can no longer go punch for punch with someone half his age, but when he was younger, he was one of the best. Even in his old age he can hold his own in a firefight.
He also uses ruthless methods on rivals to get information out them, whether it involves breaking bones or using some kind of substance to burn their skin. He's also not above hurting his own family for failure. When there is failure, there has to be consequences, that's the way he sees it.
Often times he is accompanied by his nephew, Mickey (to be posted at a later date), who acts as the Giovanni's enforcer and personal guard to his uncle. Other than Mickey, there's other members of the family with him, usually driving him around or just being around him in case of an attack, so they can sacrifice their lives for his safety.
Mugshots (I hate how looks young in the faraway shots. Gotta be close to see his age XD)
Papa Giovanni Clapping... at Something
Sadly there are no Tommy Guns in the game, but this upgrade to one of the Shotguns works for the purpose. XD
The man obviously said something he shouldn't have
Papa Giovanni using a gang member from a rival gang as a human shield as he gets to safety
Of course... What else is a Mafia boss going to ride in?
Well, this I suppose, but it's so rare that this car just sits in his collection.

Does later date count as later today? Couldn't help myself. Had to make Mickey.
Mickey Giovanni. Nephew to Papa Giovanni and enforcer of the Giovanni family. Age 30. When there is a job that's just too much for anyone else in the family, Papa gets Mickey to do it. Mickey's big and strong, but not the "all brawn, no brains" type, although he definitely lets his brawn do most of the talking. When needed, he provides a tactical edge, which has won the family some decisive wars in the past.
Like the rest of the family, Mickey dresses in suits, though, his dress style is much more relaxed and laid back than that of most, opting to leave his jacket open and usually not wearing a tie. And, unlike the others, he prefers a muscle car as opposed to the luxury cars the rest of the Family is often seen driving in. When not doing work for Papa, Mickey can usually be found around him, acting as his body guard.

Really good work on Papa Giovanni, especially the facial morphing. Glad you did take close ups because you definitely can't see the detail nearly as well in the far away shots. He needs a prison outfit for more mug shots though. Despite him not having a tommy gun, I wouldn't want to run into him with that shotgun either. lol I think that guy might have tried pickpocketing him and paid for it with his face. He'll know not to do that again! He's lucky that's all he got though. I think Papa might have been trained in wrestling at some point. He's putting a great arm wrench on that guy. I like how he rolls in style too. Wish I had a limo.... Mickey looks so angry in those close ups. XD He knows how to use his feet. I feel a little sorry for that guy on the ground that he's practicing his field goals on. Only a little bit though. Looks like the other guy is about to get a shining wizard himself. I'm sure that didn't feel very good. lol That guy who he ran over wouldn't be very good at football. He got plowed over while running away! Really liking his muscle car too. I would totally LOVe having one of those.

Yeah, I really hate how his age doesn't show unless the screen is up close. Even in some cutscenes it's not noticeable. O.o
----
One more Giovanni to go (so you will get a break from all the black, Hey, it's their gang color XD). There are other prominent members in the family, but the three posted first are the key figures of the Mafia, obviously, being the Giovanni's.
This next one is Papa Giovanni's daughter, and princess of the Giovanni's, Angelina. Age 27. Rarely does Angelina dirty her own hands. She's more of a behind the scenes girl. Gifted with brains. While Mickey has strategic brains, Angelina has another kind. Mainly when it comes to technology and the Giovanni family have prospered greatly from it, whether it be her destroying another family internally through hacks and planting evidence against others or to her own designed security system for the Giovanni family mansion.
However, there are times when Angelina will pick up a gun and head into battle herself. She can handle her own in a firefight, but when things get too heated, she usually needs helping, and with a cousin like Mickey, what else could a girl ask for? She also inherited her father's ruthless side. She'll show nearly no mercy to her enemies, especially if they aren't able to respond back in kind. Many would say it's cowardly, but never to her directly.
Mugshots
Hacking the System
Giving a Pose
Like the rest of the family, she likes expensive cars, and being Papa's daughter, she has nothing but the best in the fastest Sports car around in the Attrazione.
